  1. I'll get a picture up of my IKEA bastardized mold up ASAP. I have company coming this weekend. Also, I have a few molds that ROCK~ that were made for me personally, that I might sell.

Brand new log molds, lined in either Lexan glass [polycarbonate] or silicone.

    Made of wood.

Perhaps I'll post my collection. :laugh2:

I can't wait to see your bastardized mold!! :rolleyes2 I would be interested in purchasing your mold that you don't want.

    thanks

    Carol

  2. I have quite a few silicone molds, I know some mold suppliers dye the silicone different colors. Are you talking one piece silicone Jeff? Or pieces of silicone?

I buy silicone sheets and rolls from all over, to fix up my wooden molds. Perhaps you could offer wooden molds, as well? :)

    Hi Mystical.....

I just bought some 5x9 liners off ebay but am new to all this & need help in knowing how to use them.I see you posted on another thread that you might sell some of yours that were made for you and pics of the ones you made I can't wait to see them & I'd be interested in buying one of the molds you had made.

    Thanks.....

  3. Oh.......Thanks! BTW I also emailed & called Soap Silly, no one answers the phone & no email returned!! How can someone run a business & not answer their email OR phone!! If they are out of business why don't they say so on the web??

    Blessing.....

  4. I would love to see a picture of your mold..it seems so versitile..

I can't quite figure out all it will do...:)

To see their molds just google "soaphutch"

I was hoping to get one that has a liner or make a liner. I would rather not have to line the molds(with freezer paper/syran wrap) every time you use them.

I hope to hear back from the person who made liners for her molds out of silicone.

    Regards

    Carol

  5. Log mold would be either an Upland or the various wooden log molds I've basterdized with silicone baking mats from eBay. I concocted many great molds like this, even the IKEA drawer organizer for small batches and testing. The soap comes out of the mold super easy and smooth as glass. I made nine 2 lb molds with the silicone for under fifty bucks. The type sized for the 9x5 bread pans are the best for this mold- less cutting and waste.

I currently have a good sized sheet of Lexan to line the larger log molds for my next experiment. Just awaiting on the cutting job, I don't touch power tools as such cuz I know my limitations. Hahaha. :grin2:

    Hi

I was looking at these old posts about molds as I'm looking for one. I noticed that you made your own 2lb molds and used silicone to line them. I found the stuff on ebay that you used, but could you share how you cut it to fit the molds??

    Thanks

    Carol

  6. Has anyone taken a class with Lori at The Nova Studio in Point Richmond, CA? DH (I don't know how I talked him into it) and I are taking a Friday night class on soap coloring and an all day Saturday and Sunday class on CP and HP soapmaking. I am so excited! It is sure to be a good time. Has anyone else taken any of her classes?

    Hi

We are flying in from Florida. I have never taken anything from her before, but the class looks great!!
