  1. What brand do you use? I have some from Bittercreek, too. I may end up tossing the millcreek brand if they are going to all turn eventually. Sucks! :undecided
  2. That is not good news, lol. I am going to look into the portion cups again..do you notice this with them? I see you have them in your lineup. I couldn't find any locally that were made out of polypro, which brand do you use?
  3. I use these as well, and can easily get a dark red. I also add a couple drops of black to get the darker color--so it isn't too bright. I would have to look at my notes for the exact amount in my soy.......I also use the pryme colors in my soy.
  4. Anyone else experience this? I got them from Millcreek, and the scent was Vanilla Rum, made them about 3 months ago. All the other scents are fine, but this one smells like plastic. We opened up all of them, and sure enough, they all have morphed. I melted one and it smelled like a skunk, it was disgusting. Now I wondering if all of the scents could morph like this? Not sure of the shelf life. Any info on this would be appreciated.
  5. I'm really liking JS Welcome Home these days, it is awesome! Second place would be Pumpkin Cornbread from Backwoods, it is really nice
  6. I use several of their oils-- Celtic Moonspice Birthday Cake Barbershop 1920s Roobios RaspberryTea and Clover Pineapple Cilantro Lemon Merangue Pie Tangerine Lavender Cranberry Fig Sweet Tooth Flannel Sheets Ess. of Jesus Ess. of Bethlehem Walnut Layer Cake Cucumber Mint Copa Cabana Strawberry Musk They have many awesome oils!
  7. I ordered the pumpkin spice, energy, elderberry, and guavaberry you raved about. Can't wait to test these two. I currently use WYW perfect pumpkin, how does PS compare, in your opinion? TIA
  8. No you should be fine. As long as you typed in scent event, you will get it. I placed my order this morning and already got the paypal request with the new sale prices. Hope you got the SNC birthday cake and Celtic Moonspice, these two rock.
  9. I space them a bit closer together, right in the middle--I use the EZ wicker tool to get it right every time
  10. Depends on the oil, but I use anywhere between 6-9% in soy and about 7 oz. of wax in that size jar. I also use CD or Hemp wicks in soy...I have had the issue with candles smelling burnt, and it is usually an issue of overwicking, no matter what series wick you use, try wicking down if the issue continues..
  11. I use this wax and zinc or lx wicks, I know some love the cd series in this wax, but I found they smoked and created soot more than the zincs.....I use 8-9% in this wax, with no problems, it is an awesome wax.
  12. FOH apple cobbler delight is very strong with no spice and for a straight mac apple, try wildfire creations. I here the new mac apple from JS is also dead on and super strong, but I don't have this one.
  13. If it helps, I too didn't care for either of these scents....but they do have some great oils in their line. For the best birthday cake, I would try AH--the SNC version or JS's new one, it is identical to SNC's. Butterscotch, I love TCS, but I think they are out right now.....their butterscotch brulee is a popular one too. Everyone loves that one.
  14. Hey, I forgot you had mentioned this one before----thanks for the info!
  15. I use categories for my scent list, I have a Vanilla section and a seasonal section, too.... I would put the Sage & lemongrass and cool citrus basil in your garden category.
  16. Don't forget Lemon Pound Cake----the best hands down Banana nut bread---it is so realistic, it is top notch Black Canyon Hazelnut Capp./Vanilla Hazelnut, both rock in soy Amish Harvest Vanilla Passion ( I hate this one, but it is a great strong vanilla, sells like crazy) Med. Fig---this is not a typical fig scent, it is more mango like. We renamed it and called it Mango Fig
  17. yep--that was my experience too. Not great meltpools or cleanburning.:undecided
  18. KY is awesome and the new Amazing apple pie from JS is excellent!
  19. It has different numbers at the bottom, so I am asuming this doesn't mean the same thing....I see an 11, 4, 8, 2 All in the same bag. I emailed the company, but have not heard back yet.
  20. I use a 50/50, so I can't imagine why they woudn't throw as well if not better in your wax--- Holiday Crunch---strong Frostbite--awesome Snowflake--icy and strong Spicy Winter Sensations--strong Sleigh Bells--strong Brown Sugar Pecan--awesome Country Kitchen--best seller My secret recipe eggnog--strong Hot Buttered Rum--strong--I use less on this one Christmas Wish--Strong Buttery Brown Sugar--Strong Christmas Splendor--Strong Mulberry--Med/strong Southern Vanilla--Strong--like Ms. Randy's Birthday Cake--Strong--just like AH These are all off the top of my head, they are great oils!
  21. Same here---also have good luck with zincs in this wax. I found the CD's tended to smoke a bit, and the LX or Zinc are best. Still testing in my apothecary jars for the best double wick.
