  1. I'm wanting to learn and experiment with making my own. Similiar to the B&BW Type. How do I make it?
  2. Ditto here with wanting to change my labels. Keep the ideas coming:yay:

  4. I just found on this site 4 oz frosted jars pretty cheap. As low as $0.25. http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin149c.html
  5. Thank you. I bought some wicks from CS and they recommened CSN 12 but I accident ordered the CSN 14. That's why I asked to see if they work. So do I need to wick up with this wax or is it because of the jar?
  6. I use an Eco 12 for my 3 in jar. But I personally don't care for Eco's. I like LX's better.
  7. I found my square jar at the dollar store. It's Libbey brand and I don't have to pay for shipping. But no lid. You could make your own out of cardboard?
  8. Actually I got this card stock at the craft store and just stuck a return address label on it.
  9. What do you suggest? Open to anything. I have a sizzix machine (that cuts any shapes using dies) and I bought that die which is called a Top Note from Stampin Up. They actually advertise using that to put candy or chocolate in but I thought it would be perfect for tarts. Actually I was thinking putting a whole punch on the top so I can hang them all on a spinner rack. Now if only I can figure out how to package my votives.
  10. Candle Science has the 8 oz. http://candlescience.com/containers/8oz-frosted-tumbler/ or the jar store http://www.jarstore.com/catalog/product_detail_libbey.php?subid=204&pid=2371
  11. I think labels are the hardest part to creating a candle.
  12. What is a good soy and pariffin to combine for votives. I currently use Ecosoya PB and didn't know if I added some pariffin if it would make it better or worse? Thanks Alexandra
  13. Stella, what wick would you use for a 12 oz metro jar with the glass glow?
  14. Wow I just checked out the The candlemakers Store and their prices are a lot cheaper. Are there products equivalent?
  15. Well I've read that most people favor the GG better and I was curious as to why? Is the color or fragrance better?
  16. I was wondering what the differences were in Glass Glow and Frosted from CandleScience? Also could you use either of these for tarts or would you use the starburst?
  17. For all of you that tried these blends what wicks and sizes did you find worked the best? Also how long did you let them cure?
  18. Which palm did you use? I know candlescience has two different kinds.
  19. My first question is how easy is it to clean palm wax and parrifin wax? I currently make soy candles and it is super easy to clean jars, pots etc.. My second question is for those of you who make candles in square jars how do you cover them to keep dust getting in? Thanks Alexandra
