  1. I found a couple of clamshells in my stock a few days ago that are at least a year old- Hydrangea, Mulled Cider and Sugar cookie. I poured those same scents into new clamshells two days ago and the only one that didn't morph into a skunky smell is the hydrangea. The old ones are completely fine. I'm thinking something with their clamshells has had to have changed-none of those scents are morphing into anything funky in the plastic portion cups either.

  2. When Wendy does a prebuy you need to get in on it. Every single one of her oils are beyond awesome!! The VBN is my favorite, it throws like you would not believe. Also I'm pretty sure that they all get tested in CP.

I got the VBN in the last prebuy. I was not impressed with it OOB (yes...I know, I know, don't judge OOB) but I FINALLY got it in wax last week. Made tarts and that sucker has been on my warmer for 5 days non-stop and is still going. IT'S AWESOME and it's the most exact dupe I've ever tried. This is my favorite  I'll definitely be emailing you, Wendy. I MUST have more! LOL

  3. Wygen, do you think Polypropolene means #5?? I looked at the site you order from and saw the "polypropolene." I will definitely order from them the next time. They are more expensive than my #6s I get from Sams, but if they will hold up to the FO, I think they are worth it. Sorry, I just didn't think they made them. Carole

I emailed and asked the company before I ordered if the polypro cups had a #5 on them, or what markings were on the bottom. They told me that it had the 5 along with a "pp" under it- I'm going to assume that pp stands for polypropylene but I don't know. The ones my Sam's sell are much cheaper too-ours sells the solo brand and after looking around and asking questions from different suppliers, I was told solo's cups are polystyrene. I'm not sure what that means in terms of durability and scent retention, but I figured the #5 and polypropylene was a much better option. HTH!

  4. I do not believe that any of the little cups are rated 5. They are not suitable for pouring tarts into. They will suck the scent out and eat thru the plastic. I do pour samples in them for fundraisers and find they are good for about 4 or 5 months. Guess everyone just has to try for themself. Carole

The cups I bought have a 5 on the bottom...I asked before ordering:D

  5. I'm looking at ordering some samples from Peaks and so far I have on my list to try with soy wax. Any input?

    Blackberry Sage

    Casaba Mist

    Cedar

    Cinnamon Buns

    Fresh Linen

    Creme Brulee

    Vanilla Passion

    Wild Mt Honey

    White Tea Ginger

    Warm Apple Pie

    Thanks!

    I have tried

Cinnamon Buns- Good throw, not my favorite cinnamon buns FO though (I LOVE snowtops version)

Fresh Linen- My favorite linen type so far- love this one. It's strong but not overpowering

Vanilla Passion- probably my favorite vanilla so far, great throw!

White Tea and Ginger- dead on duplication from B&BW, awesome in b&b products and I got a killer throw in both soy and paraffin with it.

Warm Apple Pie- very nice! I got a good throw from it, not a huge one, but good!

I just got samples in of Casaba Mist and Wild Mountain Honey. The honey is a beautiful scent. I keep catching myself going to the bottle just to sniff it. It's a honey scent but it's got some floral notes in it, really nice OOB. Casaba Mist I'm undecided on- OOB it smells like Peaks' tuscan nights to me.

  6. I agree, it's very crisp clean laundry scent....almost like...ummmmmmmm

rich fabric softener/crisp clean.... I can't really pin point it. It's really different and very refreshing.

    Dani

    HTH LOL

Well good...because I ordered before I got a response! LOL Thanks ladies :)

  7. Stone-Wash Cotton-I'M NOT FOND OF CLEAN SCENT BUT THIS ONE IS REALLY GOOD!!! TRUE SCENT

How does this one compare to a clean cotton/country clothesline/fresh linen? I have all of those and LOVE the clean scents, but I'm scared of duplicating something I already have.

  8. WOW.. I would call them tomorrow. The webstie shows that it is a stock item which means they should have it on hand...

My last order I got within days..

But holy crap.. If here is a 2 week wait, I better reorder..

I am down to my last few cups!!

I ordered late yesterday afternoon and on the confirmation it said it was estimated to ship on the 14th with a delivery date of the 22nd. I'm hoping they just overshoot their estimates! You might be closer to them- I think from that area of the country things normally take 3-4 days to get here from UPS. I hope yours come faster if you need them! LOL
