  2. Hi Maryann,

I just wanted to follow up on the questions that you had regarding our C-3 product.

Typically, you will heat the wax to 170 deg F, add your fragrance and dye, then pour it at 163 deg F with approx. ambient temperature is 73 deg F.

Things to watch when using C-3 to make candles – Keep track of the ambient air temperature since that can be your friend or enemy when pouring soy candles. A ambient room temperature of approximately 75 deg F and pouring the wax at 160 deg F should produce a nice looking candle. This is based on many years of working with this wax. If the ambient temperature of your room is closer to 80 deg F, or higher, then you would want to lower the pour temperature so that you get the same looking candle. The lowest temperature that I would suggest is 130 deg F for the C-3 wax, below that temperature you could end up with clumping. If the ambient temperature is below 70 deg F I would suggest that you pour the candle at a slight higher temperature to get a good looking candle. Spacing between the candles is also very important to getting a nice looking candle. I suggest that you have at least 1.5 inches all the way around the candle

I have also attached a graphical view of what I am talking about that shows the results of each of these cases.

    Kindest Regards,

    Larry

This is my response from them. I also had 2 boxes L9I24 and they are bad. Looks like soap in it and when it dries looks like cottage cheese. The company needs to do something about this and email back to Larry that I do know how to pour candles and at what temp, been using C3 for 5 years.

Will let you know when they response to me.

  3. I make these all the time and sell them at craft shows.

    Use size K crocket hook

Nylon netting comes in a bolt as does frabric. Purchase 3 yards of net. Netting is then cut into about 1 and 1/4 inch strips. Tie strips together to make ball.

To make the scrubbies: Chain 4 and join together.

Chain 2 and double crochet into circle (16 double crochet) join together.

Chain 2 and then double crochet twice into each slot (between previous dc) you will then have 32 dc.

Join together and knot, tucking in all excess ends.

I use smaller hook to do this.

Make two like this and then single crochet them together, knot and tuck in excess nylon.

  4. I just purchase a company and they had alot of essential oils and not sure if these are safe for candle wax of is it for soap or whatever. The company name of the bottles are essential oils.org Went to the web site and I have no idea what they are talking about.

Can someone help this dummy what I can use these for.

    Example of the oils:

    Roman Chamomile Hydrosol

    Code: AnthemisNobilis2

    Part: Herb

    Method: Steam distillation

    Orgin: USA

    Class: Water

    Peppermint Oil

    Code: MenthaPiperital

    Part: Flowing Herb

    Method: Steam distillation

    Orgin: India

    Class: Monotetpenal

If misspelled, I can not see the small writing.

Can anyone explain this to me?

    Thank you!

  5. I have a customer that claims fedex didn't deliver her package. Fedex shows it was left at her back door at 1:45pm on 8/29/09. She claims she was home all day and no one came. She demanded that I send her a new candles and deliver it to her house, granted she is out of state. She will not wait for fedex to do the investigation on it. So I ended up sending her money back to her by paypal which is how she paid. She ended up sending it back to me thru paypal and wants me to drive to her house and give her cash! I am in MN and she is in TX. Help what can I do?

Also this is the first time she has ever order from me.
