  1. Is there some good places to buy scrapbooking paper wholesale? I've searched and searched and keep coming up with some pretty high priced places. Just wondering if there is such places. Thanks
  2. Have you ever used TKB trading co colorants? Those the best non bleeding colorants I have ever had the pleasure to use.
  3. I use it in all my soaps no matter if the fragrance oil has vanilla in it or not. I have serval scents that don't have vanilla but they do turn yellowish without the vs.
  4. Yes they do bleed. I emailed them and that's what they told me, "that it may take a while but the colors will bleed".
  5. I get mine from Bittercreek--don't know why but for me it works so much better than WSP.
  6. Wondering if any of you have any experience with Exoticfragrances.com? I have never ordered from them and wondered how "right-on" their fragrances are to the real thing.
  7. I also add to every batch, vanilla or no vanilla. I noticed on my floral/designer types that they would yellow over time so I add stabilizer to those also. Works every time but I have never noticed a chemical smell during or afterward. Maybe we use different brands.
  8. That looks awesome. Can you frost several at a time before the frosting turns too hard or doesn't it ever get to that point?
  9. Thanks everyone for your answers-I guess I'll give it a try.
  10. Just wondering if it really has alot more lather than others. If anyone uses the white pro base I would really appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks
  11. Is there a better frosting recipe that works better or is the whole bath cupcake thing going to be a waste of time as a whole?
  12. For those of you that make whipped soap with your FBB do you add a neutralizer with your vanilla scented fo's to combat the browning or doesn't it turn brown like melt and pour? Thanks
  13. Bramble Berry--Hello Sweet Thang BitterCreek--Vanilla Bean Supreme Aroma Haven--Blackberry SweetCakes--Blueberry
  14. Artic Raspberry is the best raspberry I have ever smelled. Very very true, no artifical candy smell.
  15. SweetCakes blueberry is just awesome. Smells so true to the fruit and is super strong.

I'm pretty sure it's the vanilla content in the FO's you used. I would suspect it will get even darker than that. Alot of soapers use a vanilla color stabilizer to help with that. Here's WSP link to that product:Crafters Choice™ Vanilla Color Stabilizer (1 gal is approx. 9.1 lb) Common Uses: MP Soap. Points of Interest: Prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. Must use in a well ventilated area.
  17. Maybe I didn't like it because it wasn't what I expected. It was alot thinner than I thought it would be and it just felt sticky. I had several people try it out and they all hated it. All my testers like a nice thick product and this wasn't it.
  18. I tried KY and I just don't like it. I know alot of people just love it so it's probably just me!
  19. Watery works best for me. It seems to mix better with my little bit of m&p I add to the cup. Really don't give up, I practiced and practiced and wasted more soap than you can imagine but it is so worth it now.
  20. No it doesn't dry out the soap, you don't use enough of it to do anything but dissolve the oxides.
  21. Can you buy water soluble decals that you could put on bars of soap that would dissolve when it comes in contact with water. Is there such a thing?
  22. I have great luck with oxides but it took alot of practice and now thats all I use. But the very best way I have found is to spray alittle alcohol in a cup and add a very little oxide at time until it dissolves. You may have to spray more alcohol and add a lttle more oxides to get it as deep as you want but then you can pour a little of your m&p in the cup mix well and add to the rest of your batch. No unsightly speckles. Again I can't stress enough just add a very little oxide at a time.
  23. Lotioncrafter.com has some nice recipes for massage oils.
  24. Why is it that Dr. Bonners works to make more lather? I mean does it have to be that brand or will another brand work just as well? PA thanks for all your input, I really appreciate it.
