  1. Anyone know of anything that smells similar to her floral muse? I used to use elements olive blossom and when they discontinued that I tried to fill the void with MW floral muse. Now I need to find someone else that is similar. Doesn't look like pure fragrance oils is going to carry this one.

Have you tried BCN's Olive Blossom? I don't know if it's a match, but it smells awesome and rocks in soap and wax.

  2. I need to place an order from NG and I need some recommendations for tropical fragrances.

I'm not huge on tropical scents, but with summer right around the corner, I think I need some.

My only stipulation is that it must be strong. :-)

    Thanks guys!

  3. I would recommend just using FOs. Like Scented said, using EOs can get pretty expensive.

Try finding a rose and a driftwood you like and mixing them. I'm pretty sure The Candlemaker's Store has a driftwood. For a rose scent--that could slightly mimic rosewater--I recommend AH's Rose Geranium.

  4. Yes, it disappears. When I used equal amounts of soy and palm, I had some feathering, but not a pretty palm look. I decided to take the palm percentages down and the hot throw improved and the tarts look very smooth. I did not figure the tarts would pop out of the bowl with the lower palm percentages, but they do.

  5. I'm using ecosoya pb with feather palm. I don't get feathering with the percentages I use, but they still pop out of the mold.

It's been a long hard road of testing and this is the blend I've finally settled on. It rocks hot or cold. :yay:

  6. Thanks Belinda! I just saw Sugar Cookie Dough on the ICS website and I'm intrigued.

I need to order cellophane bags, so I think I'll place an order with ICS and try SCD and FSC.

If you think of anything else I should sample from ICS, I'd love to hear. I am getting Orange Chiffon Cake, which I've used and love. I'm also going to try ST Macintosh Apple and Banana Nut Bread( I hope it's heavier on the banana and bread and light on the nut)

  7. I have the same problem with CW shipping. I can't tell you how many times I dump my CW cart when I get to shipping. It's just too steep, which makes me sad. :( I try to convince myself that they are still cheaper (overall) than a few other suppliers I use, but high shipping is my pet peeve. I just can't do it!!!

Yes, they have wonderful oils and prices. Why can't CW be in Oklahoma! Lol
