  1. Mango butter is not as greasy as shea butter, maybe you should add more mango and less shea butter. I don't know if you are wanting to keep your whipped shea butter ingredients to a mininmum but I would go with some light base oils like coc oil (not to much can cause dryness) and sun oil, to me they absorb better into the skin and also minimizes the greasy feelings of the butter.
  2. Does anyone add a mp base or liquid soap base or both to your body scrub?
  3. If I wanted to add color to my body butters, what type of colorants should I use? I really don't want to use the fd&c but if I have to I will.
  4. Hi the body butter i make consists of oils and butters but I add cyclomethicne and isoprpyl mrys., With these ingredients would the body butter still be 100% natural or not because of the other two ingredients?
  5. Just to start you out with something, try clear jojoba oil and sunflower oil. I am still looking for a couple more to use in my bath and body oil. If you use the clear jojoba oil for a heavy oil you also add cyclo to your base to make it a medium-heavy massage oil.
  6. http://www.oilsbynature.com/product-category/oils.htm you can get 10 pds. for $17.50
  7. Could someone please help me out with the "not in intended for...." disclaimer. I only use fragrance oils in my bath and body products, no essentials oils. So i am looking for something to say like "not recommmended for theraputic use only for (the rest I don't know how to word.) Please help. Thanks
  8. Do you have a scrub that you make yourself but also add a liquid soap base to it, also?
  9. I purchase my labels from www.brownkraftlables.com, they carry pre-made candles and bath and body labels, different shapes and colors, oval, rectangle, round and hangtags, pastels, bright, white, clear, and the four shades of brown. They also carry inkjet and laser labels, no minimun, just by the sheet and bulk. To me the prices are okay but I don't know if anyone else would agree. Just check them out.
  10. Hello everyone, I was wondering if you made a salt or sugar scrub, initially starting your own ingredients but you wanted to add a pre-made soap base to your scrub for added jazz to your product, do you also list those ingredients on your products or just as "liquid soap base".
