we started out with 10 between jars and tarts but then had a few more "specialty" types like muffins etc.. but now are up alot more. I have a standard line of 25 that doesnt change but then offer in seasonals or special scents.

I do my own parasoy blend ( live is CA), I use some of genwax wax but as part of the blend never on their own.. BUT i have to say I was so impressed with the greenleaf 70/30 sample from Brenda that i might be switching over and not blending anymore.....:highfive:

Has anyone else had problems with some of this coming off in the wax?
I have 4 pots and it seems 2 of them are losing some finish... I am super careful not to scratch/ scrape the bottom, i use wooden paint sticks for stirring, never metal....I thought at first it was stuff in the wax but I have melted and strained in a non presto and the wax is clean then put the same batch in the presto and strained and there was the stuff again......BLARG BLARG BLARG!!!!!!!

Okay, that has to be the most RIDICULOUS thing I have ever heard. It is simply laughable. First of all, someone who is choosing a $15 shipping box just is not very business savvy, eh? Second, the way they include it in the communication, it sounds as if they are charging you, as well, for the labor to move the "paper wads". Those dang paper wads. I know each time I have to remove "paper wads" from my boxes, it takes all day. Wednesday are usually "paper wad" day at my house. I block out the whole afternoon. Those "paper wads" are just so time consuming. Dang pesky "paper wads". Can you tell I just like typing "paper wads"?
BBBBAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA well that just made my day....heehee "paper wads" ...well CS is off my good list and on my **** list now too.....to many other good companies that WANT my biz....what a shame....

we use larger one that have 2 rolling wheels on one end and a handle on the other, we lift them up and out of the vans together but one person can roll them alon, they stack well, slide under the tables for storage or if we get in a pinch we can stack 2, toss a covering over it and have extra show space.

I make mine in both the garage and a screened in back porch ...and yes the hotter it is the better they are LOL gotta love SoCal:yay: I just take extra precautions about dust etc...

We package ours using the wicker paper plate holders ( the things that you use so your paper plates dont get floppy...lol) they hold 6 of ours , then we shrinkwrap the whole thing , tie a homespun strip around it and add a label. they sell for $6 wholesale and $10 at shows. The way we find them is grabbing all we find from thrift stores ( never more than 25 cents a piece , usually 10 for $1)
-
what a great deal, you are one lucky duck!!!!!!! :yay:
-
we don't use regular metal votive mods for us..our style is prim/rustic and our V. holders are bigger so we use the small dixie cups with a wick pin...votives are fast sellers for us so we pour in 5# batches.

Just hang in there... it does take people awhile to find you, I would say you ARE having sucess, I know of people who have taken months to get their first website order,,

to get an idea of a blend i dip Q-tip ends in the oils, then snip the tips into a plastic baggie...let it sit a little bit then go from there.....gives me an idea of how they are going to be together. IF i like it then i mix and pour testers.
