  1. I would love to start from scratch. Who will give me the names of vendors, product formulation codes and mixing ratios? Where do you start? I have a everything to start a business and have been in business (The pet business know all the vendors in the pet trade). No ones going to give the names of their vendors. Money is not a problem. When I was looking into this business it's not so much of the business it's the information and the experience of 17 years and product formulation codes and mixing ratios. I do see your point. I am not going to rush into anything just wondering what you all though. Thanks
  2. People know the biz name since 2002 I would never change the name even though I live in NM they have quality oils and wax even though I would not be able to use the previous name of the wax because of they sold rights to someone else a while back and I do know if I would sell any wax even thought its the same wax . I have seen their inventory they don't have a lot because instead of restocking they paid for medical bills and I understand that. I guess I will keep thinking, Thanks
  3. But what about always out of stock with their oils I wonder if it is their fault or the suppliers?
  4. The say they have over 150 scents but when I went to their website they have like 17 and maybe 8 discontinued they said they have over 12K in inventory and they want 27.5K for their business and they look like they ruined their reputation. Thanks
  5. You know I did a lot of testing with the tea light warmers the smaller the warmer the hotter it gets the Fo from tart burns off faster so they do not last as long as they would in a taller tea light warmer and not as long in a electric warmer they last a lot longer and can hold a lot more wax at not such a high temperature. Make sure you use the smaller tea lights then the ones they have at kmart they are a tad little taller then most. I hope that that helps. The wax in the coffee cup warmer in 10 minutes got to 239 degrees F and keeps going up and that is with palm wax in the electric warmers I get about 190 degrees F.
  6. I have farmers Ins with 2 cars a new RV a house and they said it would cost way to much money and to look on the internet. I thought they could do something. I should be glad they didn't drop me from my homeowners Ins.
  7. I have checked these boards over and over again called almost every ones insurance company. I am sure the people here DON'T make their warmers? so then what do you do? I probably can make my own warmers I do know how to make ceramics and my husband is a electrician or I can only make tea lite warmers so I don't know what your getting at? I have been in this business a long time ago but I think things have changed in 20 years. I have worked with candle company's in the manufacture part so I know what I am doing but I have to start from scratch because of papers I signed. Let me know if I am misunderstanding what you are trying to say? I don,t mean to sound rude. I am on this forum at least 8 hours a day trying to find info on this.
  8. That's what I told her. Then I could anyone be in business? She came to my house took pictures and was impressed with my work place. I told here other people have their insurance with this company that I saw on the forum. It,s totally unfair I only make tarts and sell the warmers at the moment (still testing candles)I tried to contact the Indy beauty place and ask if my warmers would be covered and haven't got a answer. I have spent so much money on this business it makes me sick I can't get insured. I almost made my business a LLC that would have cost a lot. I cried all last night I hate to give up but I don't know what to do:(
  9. This is making me sick. I had a lady was working with me from American National and she has checked every were and every insurance company said no that I need to have been in business for 3 years with insurance. What the heck am I to do:cry2: I guess just quit and sell my stuff. I guess it would not make a difference if I were a LLC. Oh will I hate to give up because I am not a quitter. I think I will go and get a drink now and have tears in my beers. Thank You All For All Of Your Help Alycia

I know I probably should have tried something easier but I always try the hard way first. Just like learning to swim I jumped into 12 foot of water and said do or die well I am still here thanks to a frog and watching him swim one time it was the only thing I could think of doing when I was drowning swim like a frog:smiley2: Thanks Again Alycia
