I know this is a old post but I have the same thing happen. The fluffy stuff is wax but I thinking it has something with the to crystals-brittleness of the palm wax when heated for a while. I put some of the stuff on my fingers and it was real sparkly.

Has anyone tried their oils? I buy my DPG from them but I never tried their oils. Thanks

They screwed me big time I would Never Order from them I received broken product Items and defected Items from them. I tried to work it out with them and what a holes. They just lost a big time client.

I bought one off e bay. The stores around here do not carry turkey fryers but home depot had a propane one. I live in a rural area. Thanks for your help and the cooking tip always good to know.

I don't know what she meant by oxidize wax ether never heard of it. I guess I will stick with the presto pots. I can't keep up with the demand of my store working 15 hours a day and 7 days a week on a hot plate and pot and 2 to 4 pounds at a time. Thank you Alycia

OK, Bernadette You should not leave any warmer on unattended (Not even Scensy) but a lot of people do. Of course the warmer will get hot even the 2 piece warmers get hot but try the halogen warmers they get extremely hot, but if one does leave it on then it should be placed on a candle plate or a trivet. I have no problems with mine and I use palm wax. a 40 watt bulb in a large ceramic warmer is not a big thing. Why would you even pick up a hot bowl of wax??? And every warmer will tell not to leave on unattended. And my customers are not potential customers they buy in my store every day. Sorry don't take me wrong just my opinion.
