  1. I just got my order and out of the bottle this is what we thought

Apple Peel Noel - very nice, I think we will sell it all year

Butter Cream Cinnamon - I like it better than our Cinnamon Frosting from TN

Amish Friendship Bread - smells like the Zucchini Bread

Prairie Kitchen - not what I expected, it smells a bit fruity but we like and can't wait to test.

Raspberry Lime - nice and refreshing

We were also impressed by their shipping costs.

  2. I would agree, I have more of these oils in our pantry than any others that have not been used.

BUT, the ones that we like are great so I order a few new samples each and then run across some great scents.

I will say.... I have had horrible luck with ordering larger than samples. I have three larger bottles that when I bought a sample size were great but the larger bottles are not as strong. I would say this is my imagination but I tested them against each other and unfortunately the larger bottles just were not as strong out of the bottle smell or in the wax, I even tried adding more than normal.

  3. :) Does anyone have recommendations for keeping vanilla true in clam shells?

I have a hard time with my cold throw on some vanilla scents in clam shells, they tend to get a kind of funky smell.

    Thanks a bunch!

  4. Love the responses, I think there is no way around it some people just lack tack.

At one of our shows a lady set up kitty corner from us selling candles and melts. She only carried three colors of plug in warmers.

We were selling gourmet food mixes, home decor, melts and warmers. She came over and said,

"I hope you are enjoying all the customers I am sending you because I am out of plug ins"

Ok gee thanks, so then I get a really rude lady in my booth complaining about a mosaic warmer because she does not like the color of it when it is unplugged. At the same moment someone rudely interrupts my conversation with her asking the price of a snowman and complains that its too high and she wants two for that price. Two jerks at once set me off. The snowman lady left and I sent the plug in bitty to the lady kitty corner.

Later I told her "I hope you appreciate the customer I sent you" heeeeheeee

  5. I find that going to chamber of commerce sites for cities that you are looking for shows in brings up a lot of craft shows especially for the fall time frame.

Some of the sites that you pay for listings will show you some information and from there you can google the date and city and come across more information without paying.

Church websites are also a great place to look, some of the biggest shows in my area are large local churches.

  6. Glad that they fixed it for you, I would be amazed to see someone lose a customer over a bottle of oil.

I can never figure out why owners allow people who have no business in customer service working with their customers.

Everyone needs someone like my husband working for them, if we mess up an order or have an issue he just gives you free shipping or gives you your order for free. Not always great on the wallet but people love him.

    :)
