So I've found myself with an abundance of butter! I know I could freeze it and use it slowly in cooking...... but I was thinking it would be fun to try to soap up 1 pound of soap with some of it...... have any of you soaped with butter? If so would I treat it like lard in a recipie?

I have not yet ventured into shampoo.... but I know that with large amounts of salt in soap.... like salt bars, the lather is WAY less. Perhaps you could decrease the amount of salt you're adding.

Hi, I just made this recipe tonight.... I LOVE IT!! I used coconut oil, cocoa butter, bees wax, and EVOO... and added buttercream flavor oil..... smells great, feels great, but it would be so much better if it was sweet...... just wondering if anyone has added stevia to this and how much? Thanks so much! Melissa

I'm voting for butter. I've always prefered body butters over lotions, even before I got into making B&B. I guess I just feel more luxorious or something when I use the butter.

This looks great, thanks for posting. I haven't yet tried to make bath bombs, although I have made a foaming bath soak.... the hard part I've heard is getting it to stay in a neat little ball. We'll see how it goes
