  1. I am looking for frosted jars in 3 different sizes.  Ones that can take a screw on cap.  I ordered from SKS, and now they cant deleiver for 10 days, becuase I ordered too many (10 cases...hey whatever) so I need to find somewhere else.  Any thoughts?

  2. Has customer service dissapeared because of online websites.  I called a vendor today and they are always helpful.  I order in bulk and my item is not on the website, as they custom make them for me.  They informed me I HAVE to order on the website of my order can take 2 weeks because they only have a person come in 2 days a week to enter orders! WTH!!! I've never heard of this.  I said, well i will order somewhere else then!  How sad!

  3. Do they sell?  I really don't know of anyone using or even making them.  I need something new to my line, Im so bored with candles. Im country/prim so thinking this is not my thing, but maybe there is something to this.  Thoughts?

  4. so they sat for a week (yeah I forgot about them until now) and they are completely dry.  I put some in a bag for somone to test and noticed they did mess up the bag really bad just from very light handeling.  Even though I would put this in a plastic or glass jar, I assume the same will happen....hmmmmm

  5. My label program actually does this for me, so I cant help with too much detail.  But I can tell you it calculates mine at .003 cents each.  A lot depends on laser, inkjet and if they are individual color cartridges and how many colors there are on your label. I typically accounted my ink at .02 each.  Are yours B&W or full color?

  6. not sure what TAT is?

I would just tell her you will refund all her money she paid LOL....just get over it and move on.  It was free, and she did not pay for it, so she had nothing too loose. I would suggest in the future if you are giving something away, already have it made and send it right out.

  7. Based on the pic Im looking at...it looks just like the warmers you plug in glade plug in warmers except in a differently represented.  THey are fragrance oil  in plastic, so Im guessing this might be the same thing

  8. All I have ever done is retail and fundraisers. All of your questions are exactly what I was asking for..that I don't have yet. My hubby makes all my labels. I don't really know what a reasonable minimum would be. I do have several small stores in my area that have contacted me to do wholesale. So how do you work that? Obviously they aren't going to be able to work w/large minimums, do you ever alter minimums for smaller companies? I would be happy to deliver locally. Thank you so much OldGlory! :) I was hoping you would post..I can so tell you got it going on! :)

My minimum is $200.  However my direct competitors offer anywhere from $50-$300.  For me, anything under $100 costs me too many administrative costs.  Every company is different, so you need to find what comfortable for you. I have a very large and complex line, so to have a small minimum would not work well for me, if you have only a few options, $100 is typically the average in the gift industry.

  10. i found a sample some old all natural pillar blend pellets from like 10 years ago.  right now just trying out the application process.  Im thinking the absorbtion rate would be the same on any wax.  Its really wet.  I just tested a 1/2 lb pellets and 1/2 oz fragrance for starters and put in a zipped bag.  I might try the GB444 wax flakes next.

  11. I tried to save money by making things myself for my gift store..candles seemed easy...i made them in girl scouts LOL  Seriously though, it found me,  its my destiny not my passion nor interest.   It all came naturally to me and It had to make me money, it was a cost saving idea.  It has paid my income and expenses in all of the 12 years Ive been doin this.  I was never a candle person, I only bought them to cover up the smell of the dog.  Never had them in my home or anything, needless to say, I still dont have any candles in my home.   If I want to look at a candle I will go to my shop, if I want to smell them, I will sniff out my work clothes.   I am probably the opposite of the other 99% on here, sorry to say...everyone has their unique story.
