Do any of you use Shea Butter for your face or hair? I made some Whipped Shea Body Butter recently and LOVE it and was wondering how well it is for face and hair as I have read it is beneficial for both...
Thanks,

Hello,
I made some Shea Body Butter over the weekend and man and I in LOVE... Now I want to try some sugar/salt scrubs, but I know these require emulsification and preservatives, so please tell me what are your must haves for Sugar/Salt scrubs and what the product is used for...
Thanks a bunch!

Very,Very pretty. I love the color on the salt bar. What did you use for it?
Donna,
I used Celestial Colors Shamrock coloring. I was hoping to get a little darker, but this was my first time using CC, so I wasn't sure how much to use. This one smells very good!

Alright can I get a description on this patch/honey mix. I saw it on Flicker's site, thought about buying it and then told myself NO! (because there were seven other scents I wanted to try first.) Any I can't imagine a patch/honey mix.
This is actually the very first Patchouli scent I have ever tried and OH MAN, I LOVE IT!!! I am not good with descriptions, I just know it smells VERY Good...LOL

Is there anything else that I can use to get my soap whiter besides TD? Would Cornstarch or anything else I can get here locally work?
Thanks,
Bobbie

Ok, I have tried a batch of Salt Bars. They did not turn out well as they were very crumbly. I tried to sorta rebatch them by griding them down and adding to new batch of CP soap, but these turned out crumbly also. Any ideas of what I can do with this batch of salt bars. They smell very good, but just real crumbly. Anyone ever make salt scrub or anything out of bad salt bar batches? Or any other ideas?
Thanks,

What all B&B products can be made without water so there is no preservatives needed? I know bath salts, but that is the only one I know of...
Also, If a lotion base is purchased this already includes preservative correct?
Thanks,
