  1. I price mine at $2.00 & 3 for $5.00 and they go like hotcakes. I use the standard .15oz natural tubes and clear labels.
  2. Hi, To answer your question, it depends on the size of the jar, I put body butters and heavy (highly concentrated) creams in 4oz jars. this jar only has a little under 3/4" height on the side, so I have no other alternative to put a round label on the lid, with the ingredients on a 1/2" label on the side. Take Care, Ed
  3. I use a solution of water with a little bleach (I use 1 tablespoon to a gallon and have never had a problem), and make sure that anything that could come in contact with the lotion is wiped down. Most of the time you won't have a problem, but just one time is all it will take to give you bad P.R.. When I make a large batch for sale, I make sure to randomly select a tube/jar and test it for mold and yeast, you can use the Chek-it lab in a box from http://www.snowdriftfarm.com/chek-it.html , if it passes, then it goes up for sale Have fun, You'll love every moment Ed
  4. What I do is get a large (gallon size) ziplock bag (and be sure to sterilize the bag, just to be safe), fill it with the lotion, zip it close & snip the corner of the bag. Gently squeeze the lotion into the bottle. Be sure to tap the bottle to move the lotion down and force any air bubbles to the surface. You can always use a piping bag but the ziplock is alot cheaper. Don't squeeze too hard or your lotion will end up everywhere but the bottle. good luck, B&B is very addicting:cool2: Ed
  5. you might try http://www.cleopatraschoice.com/ they have the dead sea salts and mud along with a certificate of Authenticity for the mineral content, and right now they have a 10% off coupon (look near the top of the page) I'm going to place a rather large order from them this week.
  6. I use equal parts of FCO & FO , Using your original 40 grams of Cyclo, I would use 10 grams or FCO and 10 grams of FO. Yes the scent will be very strong, but since I use 8ml spray bottles, one spray will last all day. I have also found not much improvement in the scent if it sits. have fun, Ed
  7. I use a 5:1 ratio, so my formula for this is 4 parts Cyclo, 1 part FCO and 1 part FO. You really don't need to use the FCO, however,in some rare cases FO's don't mix that well with Cyclo alone and the FCO really helps in the mix. Everyone loves this formula, it absorbs fast with no greasy feel, and leaves a really nice "silky" feel to the area. Don't worry, I tested the mix and found that it doesn't separate all, even after sitting in one spot for 8 weeks. I hope this helps you out. Now to continue to try to talk myself out of making hundreds of bath bombs :undecided Ed
