  1. Hi Carrie - I appreciate your reply very much - I've never ordered from Just by Nature - do you have any suggestions for other fos to sample? Thanks again!!!
  2. Hi Pam - I just posted that very question right before you on the vanilla lime - I sure hope someone knows where to get a dupe of it...:smiley2:
  3. Hi! My stepdaughter told me she loves the scent vanilla lime from Yankee - does anyone know where I can get a dupe of it? Thanks for your help!!!!
  4. I guess the ONE company that has never disappointed me with the quality is Peaks - I've posted on this board before that I felt with some fos that the 1 oz sample I tried was stronger than when I ordered a larger quantity of the same fo - a few suppliers posted back that all their larger quantities of fos come from the same drum as the 1 oz samples are poured - but I have experienced it with some so I can't take my statement back - but Peak's has never let me down from a one oz. sample to a larger quantity ordered - if you'll allow me to choose a few others that I haven't had a problem with in that respect, it would make me happy... ICS TCS CS Cajun Thanks for letting me elaborate!!!
  5. Hi! My very favorite is Cajun's Creme Brule - and believe me I've tried quite a few - NG, CS, Peaks (which is good, Cajun's is a tad sweeter I think), ICS is very good, but Cajun's has a very nice beautiful, rich scent - I've tested Tristate's oob, smelled almost identical to Cajun's, but I haven't poured it yet - and Cajun's works great in my pre-blended paraffin... Also, I have a friend that was hooked on Cajun's Creme Brule, but she has decided she likes TCS's Butterscotch Brule even more - thought I'd share if you want to get another Brule in your line... Hugs, Casey
  6. Thanks Glo, I appreciate your response - I hope some other suppliers respond also!!!
  7. Thanks Candybee - I hope those others will reply - I love working with my wax, but hate the frustration of thinking I'm going to have as great a product as I first sampled, only to be disappointed when I get the larger size - I know that waxes have a great deal to do with it - but this has happened to me when I'm still in the process of using the same wax order - and I'm certainly not changing my process any of when I add and stir and pour - and this hasn't happened with every company, because I certainly have a few with top quality oils - but I've spent so many dollars testing to find great oils that work with my wax, and then have an fo not throw as well as the sample size did, so very disappointing...and I also feel like I let my customers down when I had that scent and it was awesome and now I have to tell them I'm sorry I don't have it for sale - because I just won't sell something w/o an awesome throw... Thanks again - I appreciate your response so very much!!!
  8. Hi! I've hesitated to post this question for quite a while - but since it seems to have happened to me quite often by now - I'm asking if the fo suppliers send more powerful fos when you are sampling, and then when you order the larger size it isn't as strong - Has anyone else ever thought this? There is also a supplier that has sales on for buy one ounce and get the second free, I believe that is how it is done - anyway, I've had one batch smell awesome and the second have half the scent - I hope I don't get knocked off this board because I'm asking this, but I'm getting frustrated when I know a sample smelled and threw great, and I order the larger size and don't get the same awesome throw - Thank you in advance for your replies - whether you think I'm crazy or maybe someone else has thought this before????:undecided
  9. Hi Sabrina - I have to add that I had no luck with the Fall Harvest or Fall Festival - I was starting to think I was the ONLY one that had no luck with some of Bert's fos - so I'm glad that it was not just me - but I do love the Cinnamon Oatmeal Crunch - awesome thrower with such a nice cozy scent - the oatmeal comes out beautifully in it - and I'm waiting to test the Sugar Cookie - I'm probably going to try some more of the 'food' scents - maybe that will be the best throwers in my wax - thanks for your honest evaluation, made me feel a tad better....:undecided
  10. I agree with Heaven ScentU - no matter how small an order, they hit you with a $10.00 shipping charge immediately - I've had no problem with their CS, but I just order my wax there...have never cared for the 'few' fos I've tried...

Hi! I love their Creme Brule, Oatmeal Raisin and the Apples & Berries rocks too:yay:
  12. Hi! I couldn't get a good throw with the Gingerbread Applesauce either and I let it cure for quite a while, same with the Warm Orange Gingerbread - I was really disappointed since both smelled awesome OOB - but I love their Butterscotch Brule, Harvest, Spicey Apples & Peaches, & Pumpkin Souffle - awesome throwers in my pre-blended paraffin....
  13. Thanks so much for your help!!! - I'll definitely be trying the Creme Brule and Lemongrass and Orange...
  14. Hi! I'm on a hunt for Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin since Creative Candle stopped selling fos.........thought I would try Tristate's and figure, oh what the heck, might as well try some of their other oils...:rolleyes2 I also really need a nice Jack Frost and theirs sounds pretty good, has the vanilla in it...so I'm hoping to get some great suggestions, especially for winter scents.....thanks so much in advance for your replies........Casey
  15. Goodness, I was really off the mark...that sounds easy enough..thanks so much!!!
  16. I want to make a primitive mustard color - like Dijon's, maybe a little lighter...I thought I had it with orange and blue until the wax cooled to its final color, a nice tan...any suggestions would be very much appreciated...thanks so much!!!
  17. Hi! I think Chestnuts/Brown sugar is alot sweeter than the Carmelized Pralines from CS IMO- both are awesome throwers - I love both of the scents!!!
  18. Ooops...I also think her Captivatingly Currant is a great fall scent!!!
  19. Hi! You will not be sorry with her Chestnuts and Brown Sugar - awesome oil and great thrower - also, Caramel Sugar Crunch is a great fall scent IMO - and throws wonderfully too - I'm in the category of hit and miss also with JS's oils - but I highly recommend the above two - I use a pre-blend paraffin!!!
  20. Thanks so much for all your replies - I tried so many before I found Creative Candle's and I loved hers, it threw great in my wax too....darn, I hate when this happens:mad:
  21. Hi! I tried GL's in three different waxes and could not get a good throw from it - liked it too when I poured...:-(((...thanks for your help though...
  22. I needed to re-order Sweet Cinnamon pumpkin and the site looks different and I can't find the fos - help, please!!! Thank you!
  23. Hi Karen - I think I'll be giving the millcreek soy a try - the scents you listed sound yummy - is 1.5 pp about what you used with this wax? Thanks again so very much!!!
  24. Thank you, Lace!!! I love making tarts and am ready to experiment a bit more with soy - I had purchased a soy blend from an Ebay seller and have sampled a few times, but was really thrown by the difference in the colors between the two waxes - I'm assuming that I need to use more dye and fo with the soy - thanks again for your time and advice!!! Casey
  25. Hi Wax Flower - Thanks so very much for your time and help - I appreciate it very much - I do think I'm going to give it a try - can you recommend any fos from MC that have a great throw in your wax? Thanks again! Casey
