  1. I use them on an electric warmer to fill the room with scent. I'm not home much right now, so not sure exactly how long they last on a warmer as I change scents too often lol. If it were on all day I think they wouldn't last as long though. But the sachets in a car last me anywhere from 3-6 weeks before I need to change them. HTH

  2. Sorry wasn't able to get on the forums yesterday so missed your question. I'm at work so can't just upload the pic, so here is a link to a pic of my scented slat rock:

and here is one with them in sachets:

Hope that works... I scent and color them, then heat them up with my heat gun while dabbing them with a paper towl to make sure they are dry, them put them in a canning jar until ready to bag them. My 1 oz sachet I make lasts anywhere from 3-6 weeks in my car, but I smoke in it so not sure if that takes some of the life out of it or not. HTH

  3. When I first started out I bought in medium amounts, if that makes sense. I didn't buy 120lbs of each wax, but did do the 60lb cases, med. size bottles of FO, etc. That way my prices were still pretty low, and I only had enough of the supplies that if I didn't sell enough I could use up for other purposes. HTH

  4. My suggestion would be to do the initial testing yourself. After you know it is a safe product and the way it burns, I would then let them test for their opinions, as well as how the candle smells/burns in different environments. But be aware that a lot of people with not really know what to look for and will usually come back with "It smelled great." or "It burned fine." Most people won't check the melt pool size as it burns, how deep the melt pool is, etc. HTH

  5. one way to check is to have him take a shower without washing...I know sounds funny. But I'm slightly allergic to chlorine(which unfortunately is added to most water). I get out of the shower and itch like there is no tomorrow, I used to think it was the soaps and such as well until I went swimming and had a really really bad reaction. Doc said it was chlorine. HTH

  6. Thanks again :) Been wanting to get into the B&B side of things but the whole sterilizing thing and fear of things growing months later has kept me away from it. But I've decided it's time to slowly wade in :) Eventually want to make my own instead of using bases but figured it would be easier to ease into using a base :) Thanks again and I'll keep that in mind Soaper for future reference :)

Got my first batch melting as I type this :) YAY! hehe I forgot how exciting it can be to try something new :)

  7. I thought it was just mine. Would have been nice though for them to email those notices instead. I don't go to the site often unless I need to change something on my store. Not to mention this morning my email also wasn't working :( That is very bad. My email is my lifeline.

  8. Thanks for the compliments all :)

TwinMom, yeah I still have to change some of the pics around as I get them. It's not completely finished yet but it's functional and most that use it right now are current customers.

TxSioux, no sorry I don't know the name of it. Had someone design my logo for me.
