I test burn 4 hours. I use the 4794 wax with a cd6. What % fo do you use, I use 6%..

The outrageous shipping charges has, in my opinion, ruined the web sales of candles. Unless any of you have ideas that cut down on shipping.

Do any of you offer a candle of the month club or similar idea? How do you set it up?

ok, I usually use Cinnamon Candies from WSP. Red Hot Cinnamon from CS is cheaper, which one smells spicer or are they equal? Can any one help me out here. Is there another one from else where you recommend?

I do a search for C3 and nothing comes up? anyway, I just started testing this wax, I used 7% fo, I have tried a cd8, resulted in no melt pool. I tried a htp 83, resulted in no pelt pool. I tried a htp 105 this morning and I finally got a small melt pool. I am testing the 8oz jelly jar.

Does any one else use this wax in this jar? What wick do you generally use?

well I tested a couple votives and with a cd6 it burned / tunneled one side only in about 3 hours. so I don't know if I can use this for votives.

I tried V1 a while back and I could figure it out. Cracked even with the SA in it and major spots.

Can natures wax P1 be used for votives?

well I ordered 10 lbs of C3 and 5 lbs of 125 and 5 lbs of P1 while I was there, so I guess I will see which is better. Of course I don't know where to being with the wicks, hopefully it is not to far off from what I am using now.

I am currently using GB 444 container wax. If I changed to Soy-125 from candlewic or to NatureWax® C-3 will I be disappointed or will I be happier? Has anyone used these waxes have opinions on which one is better?

Where do you guys get professional looking boxes for jars? The box co-op just quoted me $1.55 for 1200 minimum. I can't really afford that right now. Any place cheaper with no minimums? Do you even use boxes, if not what do you use if anything?

With all the price questions you ask, I wonder if you're up to doing a fundraiser. I'm not trying to be mean, but until you have the basics down on pricing and selling, it's almost guaranteed you will run into a host of problems with a fundraiser where other people are involved.

As far as I remember I have asked 2 price questions (10/17/07 & 11/08/08). I have a pretty good understanding on figuring cost and pricing if I were just selling retail. Fundraising, yep, a whole different world. I see it as volume selling. So I figured if I sell a jar candle even $2.00 above cost, you will still make out good. The fundraiser I was had inquired about involves a middleman as well. This guy goes would buy the candles from me and have the school sell them. So I got to make sure I make money, the school makes money and this middle man makes money.

so when the kids go around to peoples house they should get the money then. which I agree should happen. Do you guys have a lot of turn downs because of this though?

Selling this type of jar for $14, is that too much or not enough? I know, I know look at my cost etc....I have . Just curious what is the going price for something like this?
