  1. I love Fillmore and use them for quite a bit. The only thing I suggest is calling them to place an order, so you can get actual shipping. Their online cart is usually quite a bit more than when you call and place the order and they can quote the shipping for you. I'm halfway across the country and get great shipping costs from them. They are very nice people to work with. I highly recommend them! :)

  2. I do not post very often, but wanted to say that I have been testing lots of scents from Just Scent for the past few months and I am completely in awe. I researched off and on about these oils here at CT and was finding so many mixed reviews of them. It just goes to show how different oils from different companies can vary, as well as how these oils perform in different waxes.

I use a paraffin/soy blend and must say that I cannot believe how good these are coming out. So far, I have tested 5 oils and they are so strong. This might be because I chose ones that I researched to be strong throwers, but I just simply cannot believe how well these are working out for me.

Anyone of you JS believers have some great throwers you would like to pass along? I have already tested:

    Captivatingly Currant

    Caramelized Banana

    Nana's Apple Butter

    Chestnuts & Brown Sugar

    Vanilla Buttercreme Crunch

Much thanks to Becky for her great recs, as well as tons of samples...this is going to be so much fun!

  3. Sabrina, did you install the statcounter code on every page, or just the home page? I've heard conflicting information about this, and wasn't sure if I needed it on every single page for it to work right.

Not Sabrina, but I use Statcounter and you can add it to whichever pages you want to have stats on. You can do a lot or you can do a few. HTH :)

  4. Tested here too and customers won't come in...they act as if I'm going to bite...(but really wouldn't unless provoked LOL) . Seriously though, it's funny...you put the tables in and all the customers want to do is check out the products right next to the isle or don't stop at all...move it so that they do not have to come in and they stop and sniff. I've done this all over the place, as I have moved a lot...it's the same everywhere I've been. :)

  5. Real nice, everything flows and coordinates. I found the same as you, people don't want to come way into the booth. I rearranged mine this last weekend and watched people... they were more into this setup. Since I also tend to be at shows where the country and prim looks are popular, I found that by having that type of 'look' or feel to the decor helped to get them in and touching things.

What type of "look" would you say my setup has?

  6. I agree with Beckie. We are in the same area and people here would rather have the table than walk into your booth. Anytime we are on a corner we use the same setup!

    Good luck Beckie..looks great!

Thanks Monica...it is that way...isn't it? :) I've tried turning my booth in bunches of times, but people just walk by or try to look at things on the edges...like they are scared to come in. :tongue2:

Thanks to all who commented...when I change things around, it's nice to get another's perspective on things.

  7. I've learned over the many years of doing shows that most people feel uncomfortable coming "into" a booth and feel safer standing on the outside of it. I even tested it a couple of times...had it one way and then switched it...the results told me the same. And, as for the corner being taller...it catches the customer's attention. I had it this way last year and am in and out of the booth a lot anyway...I walk around talking to everyone. :) I have my mom work the booth with me and we usually take one side each.

  8. OK...I only do one show a year and it's this weekend. :) I have changed my setup and wanted to see what you all thought of it. Does it look good...eye catching?? This is setup in my basement, so don't mind the backdrop...try to imagine it at the show with black curtains around it...
