How do we determine if our candles HT is great?
What size room do you test in?
Why am I asking....cause Candlemaker A can live in an apartment and burn a candle and say it is fantastic.
Candlemaker B can live in a house twice the size of the above apt and not think the throw is fantastic.
Or Candlemaker B can sell a candle to a customer in an apt and the customer thinks the candle is too strong.
Just wanting to see what the different views are...

How about....
Apple du jour
:embarasse
I like it...may have to steal that one to use for a different scent of course already renamed my WCA....lol
-
Try searching the Fragrance section. I am not sure if dupes to their fragrances have been discussed (they probably are not their own FO)
There are other reputable suppliers out there. Scent throw is going to be based off #1 quality of oil, # wax/fo/wick combo
-
is roberts last four numbers 9055 or 0121?
-
Better, IMO. It isn't listed as a dupe, but you know how those with "type" FOs seem a bit light? This is just right. You can pick it all out. Not to sway you to another supplier, but it would be worth trying.
hmmm...okay I will have to do a search to see what others have said about them. I need more FO like I need a hole in my head...lmao

Well shyt I read that wrong.
Still if you want to know for yourself.. order samples of all their scents.
-
since it is mommy and daddy's money order samples of them all to be safe.
-
Now there's a Sakura Cherry Blossom at Southern Soaper that I think outdoes all Cherry blossom that I have. I just think it's stronger and sweeter.
No new supplier...noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...but I really love this scent. Does it smell like the BBW?
-
You know what I find odd, she gets mad when someone mentions another supplier on her board but she comes here and advertises her sales.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...funnystyle indeed. that is just as bad as a supplier banning you from a board cause you say something about their oils not working for you.

The poor American farmers, working their fingers to the bone trying to grow enough soybeans to meet demand. I hope everyone will continue to support them in these difficult times, bless their hearts.
I will continue to buy corn...I like corn

anyone but JS or Bert's.
Or BCN, I'm boycotting them
I do have about 2 I get from JS...otherwise ick. Berts...nada..I'll pass on that one.
I am with you on the boycott...good thing I am stocked up...rofl

I can make a perfect candle - perfect for the way that I burn candles but I'm sure no one else will burn it exactly the way I do - thus no longer perfect.
Great response. We can't hold our consumers hands while they are burning the candles...we can give them all info needed - but truthfully who reads instructions nowadays?
So to a consumer...it may not be perfect like it would be in your environment
-
lmao - that is why I asked the question.....to get them up to 8 posts....lol

Then click on reverse phone lookup

OH, I must have misread something! Thank you all for that!
Hi CraftersGift what kind of candles did you make?
-
This thread may help answer your question.

Enchanted Apple
isn't there an enchanted apple already by bbw?
-
What about a coffee scent? To help wake up in the morning.
I wouldn't...gag.
Bathroom = clean scents in my opinion.

I am burning the Jap Cherry Blossom from Solas right now. 2 day cure the throw is so-so (now that is subjective...my so-so may be excellent to others). I will let it cure some more and burn again Friday or Saturday.
-
I think so...from Darice (company).
I wonder who got in on the coop.
Good looking out.
Here they go https://www.darice.com/ecom/ProductDetails.aspx?it=2025-287&oid=221342
I think they hold up to 1/2 ounce.

For those that leave these on, don't you worry about your customer not taking them off before burning your candle? I'm referring to those that are plastic. Even if you put a disclaimer or some kind of instruction on the candle, we all know that most customers don't pay attention to such things. So how do you handle that?
that would be my concern
-
hey, I suggested scent works and daystar first! Matter of fact, nobody said anyone I didn't say.
you about covered all the suppliers
-
I think we misunderstood her definition of unique.
I think she was not looking for something her customers can only get from her....but different types of fragrances that weren't apple, peach, etc that she didn't have to do herself.
Which doesn't make them unique since others can buy them....just different.

*super banana*
