I love JS, they have wonderful oils. There are so many that we have tested and loved, I could go on forever! There were a small few that were too light in my wax, but that is the way it is with all companies. I think the lighter ones are really meant for bath products. Sassy Sweet Tarts is excellent, it is very strong. Great company, and Becky is so knowlegable. Here are some that I cannot get enough of:
Cupid
Sundae Indulgence
Pumpkin Vanilla Creme
Southern Style Vanilla
Pomegranate
Lilac
Totally Scrumptious
Creme de la Creme--my FAV!
Razzle Dazzle Chocolate Truffle
Snickers Coffee
Golden Coffee
Orange Vanilla Cafe --a coffee scent, can't remember the name exactly
Toffee Machiato
Caramel Cinnamon Latte
Black Cherry
All her blueberry scents
Fizzy Pops
Bazooka Bubblegum
Grammies berrie griddlecakes
Hyacinth Chula Orchid
Tangerine Tulip
Mimosa Mandarin, this is really a good seller for me right now
Baby Magic type
Vanilla of Pearl
Sugared Clementine Spice
Cinnamon Rolls with Icing
There are more, but these are all excellent throwers for us

YEahhh!!!!
So glad to hear you are doing alright, please take care of yourself, your employees are doing a great job handling things while you are away, I just got an order today! As quick as usual, and have to say your CUPID is the yummiest pomegranate scent I have ever smelled! YUMM

Oh Lord! I could name it PePe LaPew! lol! Well, maybe I could put a tab bit of vanilla if it isn't to my liking.
Thanks!
:laugh2: That was just my experience, you may love it, I know others do it just wasn't for us.

I use 135 too and after a 2-3 week cure it was amazing.
But the test I burned after 1 week did not throw. So I suggest you wait a few weeks with this one.
The french vanilla is great as well.
I have some MC that do so well and a few that don't throw at all.
I tested this one after one week only . I am really picky with my oils in soy, if they don't throw after 48 hrs, I try at one week, if it still is light I don't use it. Usually works, but sounds to me this one is an exception! Thanks for the input

Ive used noth NG and CC Lime Cilantro,I use 100% soy and the NG"S was a sharp limey clean smell well the Lime Cilantro from CC and a deep rich smell to it. I personally Like CC LC, but was not dissapointed with NG"S in wax either..they were a little different imo.
I love CC's too! It is a great oil!!

Personally, I like all very much, with the exception of 7 up cake. I thought it smelled weird, and my hubby said it smelled like cat pee. I know many love this one, so it is probably just our noses detect a note that is unpleasant to us. I had a tart melting and had to dump that baby out, he was really complaining and he never notices anything.
A friend of mine who also makes candles absolutely loves 7 up cake, so you may want to try it for yourself and see what you think. I also get that yucky cat pee smell from BCN Cookies for Santa and JS Butter Cookies, yet others adore them

I am using it mostly for tarts so that wont be too big of a deal with the coloring. Thanks for the input. I just talked to Pete and he is so nice, he offered to send me samples of a couple to try.

I have used their PB3 with good results.
Oh thank you so much, I have not heard much about this one.
-
OMG!!! I love this one, it is so unique. Do you think she would consider keeping it? I also love Apple Pan Dowdy, there is a note in that scent that is very different from the run of the mill apple pie scents, I am totally bummed she is discontinuing these two-----I just love her oils!!!
Maybe mixing hazelnut and Heartfelts Blueberry Cobbler would work? That is a great blueberry scent IMO. Has the extra bakery note many are lacking.

I love Just Scent Cinnamon Roll with Icing (can't remember what it is called for sure, but it is the best seller at all my craft shows! Very strong for me, too.) I think ICS is excellent too, but there is something in the JS scent that people just love.
-
I did this too, and folks loved it.I don't carry it anymore but when i made them I did layers of green & pink. -
I LOVE this one too! My favorite, for sure. I wish it sold better, though. I think if people can smell it first they go nuts, but just reading the brochure they never order it:o

I go back and forth on this issue too. I started out dyefree, and then started coloring when I switched to the CB3 wax. It seems to no frost much with frostop added, especially when I am able to pour in a warm room without the candles cooling too fast. But lately I have been thinking about a spa line that is dye free again. I am a purist at heart.

I had just ordered them too. I love the 700 series in my soy candles. Will be interesting to see how the 800's do.
-
I worry about this too as I was completely ignorant to that being an issue, and my children have parakeets. Ignorance is bliss!
We have lost a couple parakeets over the years, but I think it was from drafts instead of the candles. About a year ago we moved the cage to the middle of our living room and have not lost one yet. I do burn soy candles in the house and melt tarts, seems to be ok.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has used their votive/pillar waxes? I love their CB3 wax and have been using it forever, and I need a new supplier for my votive wax. Didn't know if it was a good thrower, etc?
THANKS

Just had to mention the Lemon Tart is out of this world! I think it is very authentic with no cleaner smells to me.
-
This is a nice vanilla, I get a great throw in paraffin, but not as strong in soy for me.
-
I couldn't agree more. This scent is wonderful. I was burning a little votive in my entryway and it filled the entire house. Very authentic scent. My neighbors could smell it as they were walking across the yard to my house, and were wondering what that yummy smell was, (in the middle of winter with the door and windows shut). It is great! My favorite is JS Razzle Dazzle Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Can't get enough of the stuff and very good hot and cold throw in Soy. I also use it for scent beads in a sachet. Its so strong I don't have to put the sachet in front of the vent. Its strong enough that when you open the car it smells like a desert. -
I also like the Olive Blossom from BNL but couple days ago made the Marigold Mint from AH and man is that awesome!
Ohhh, I have never heard of a marigold scent, I better give that one a try~

Banana Nut Bread
Pumpkin Crunch Cake
Margarita---wow!
Blueberry Flapjacks
Monkey Farts
Frangelico
-
Mexican Vanilla
Black Raspberry Vanilla
Coconut Lime
Creme Brulee
DITTO!! I also love their White Chocolate and peanut butter cup. These are excellent!
-
Is this different than other grapefruits, is it realistic? It sounds so yummy!Pink Grapefruit and sugar cane from Daystar!!! YUM!!!Dani

I LOVE FOH and Daystar. They are so wonderful with very unique oils. Have you tried the new ones from Daystar? I am curious about that bit o honey scent. Sounds good. I just ordered her Apple Pan Dowdy on her sale, it is my favorite apple scent, I can't believe it is being discontinued
I am really excited to see Kimmy brought back some of my old favorites, too. Her Raspberry Guava is a must try, and I also like Peanutbutter Brownie Pie! The chocolate dipped stawberries is the best scent, OMG. I too, love her carrot cake, it is the best ever. Read about it on this board, and ordered during the holidays. It is so yummy. I am going to blow my diet talking about all these food scents!

I love Kimmy and her oils. I just ordered her prebuys, too! I was over the moon when I saw she was bringing back a couple of the old favorites
Apple Cobbler delight is excellent, a great bakery scent
Bamboo sugar cane is different than I expected, but a great spa type scent
Indonesian Teak---it is AWESOME in wax. You will love it!
I agree about Euc. Spearmint, but my customers loved it. It seems the spearmint is in the background on this one, I wish a little more prominent.
