I wish I could settle for only two suppliers! I have over 15, if I count them all! LOL

I have a sample of the Awesome Apple Pie but didn't get it in wax yet. It does smell true oob (for what that's worth). Two other apples that I use are:
Apple Cobbler from FOH
Apple Danish from HF
They aren't apple pie. :undecided
I have both of these too. I love the FOH apple cobbler! Yummo! I also love toffee apple crunch from HF, OMG it is so delicious.

I think JS amazing apple pie is excellent. It has a very strong throw in my soy (ky 125) and it throws immediately. I like this one more than her HBAP, it was not strong enough for me in my soy, but did great in my paraffin. To my nose, the amazing apple pie is kinda like her apple cider but has the bakery notes too. I like it.

They are pricey, but I just don't care! I love her oils. I will probably now just wait to order when she has sales, and she does have pretty good ones every so often. I usually try to order the minimum for free shipping, and that helps too. I carry most of her oils, and a few of the premium line. She has high end stuff, for sure.

LOVE this one!!!

Chestnuts and brown sugar is nice and strong. It is different than JS, which I prefer, but it is really nice.
-
I agree, it is so strong. Her Summer Splash is also a great pear and berry type scent, so awesome.Perfect Pear from Just Scents is awesome!Bernie:drool:

Great oils, I love so many of them. I most definitely agree with the carrot cake, it is the best! I also love peanutbutter brownie pie, I just tested this one, can you say yummo????
-
The Buttery Brown Sugar, IMO, is even better - no nuts, plenty butter and realistic Brown Sugar scent. Very happy with this one.
The Coconut Bubble - This is seriously one strong thrower. If you are used to going 10% with JS's oils in soy, like me, cut back on this one. At 10% it really does smell like what you'd expect coconut meets original bubblicious gum to smell like. Anyone ever wonder why there's no such thing a coconut bubble gum? I don't wonder anymore. I don't blame JS for my dislike on this one at all - I just used too high a % of oil, but it's going to be awhile before I can try this one again.
P.S. SOW - no pretest reviews here.
LOL, I thought I smelled something 'else' in it too on first burn, but used less the second pour and it was much better. Never thought of bubblegum, that is it! Her new coconut cream pie to me is like KY's. Really good.

OMG---this one is really nice, I didn't care for it oob, but really liked it in wax. I agree with Bette's other suggestions, these two are excellent. JS has some really great scents, I also LOVE Caramel Sugar Crunch, this is SUPER strong in soy.

I agree with Flickers Med. garden spa, this was wicked strong for me in soy. LOVE IT!!
oh yeah, thanks for the reviews,

I had been using KY and it is wonderful, but after testing apple strudel from Wildfire, I am switching. It is excellent!!!!! I also really like JS amazing apple pie, it is different, kinda like the apple cider but with bakery.....I really like it a lot, but may rename it.
FOH is excellent, but definitely makes me think of cobbler and not pie, it is very sweet, I really do not detect much spice to it.

I didn't get a good throw from either of these in soy, but the french vanilla from MC was a medium throw for me. If you want a really great throwing vanilla, you should try CC vanilla voodoo, DS ultimate vanilla, or JS has some good ones too; ultimate vanilla, southern style vanilla, vanilla of pearl, victorian vanilla lace, and I really like Whipped vanilla creme too.
-
I agree, it is the only one we use, I love JS's version!
-
BG is my favorite, I didn't get a strong enough throw from ICS
-
The Scent Works has it!

Now you got me thinking I should go and smell my sample again.....I sniffed it once and thought it was like Creme Brulee, nothing special and put it back on the shelf.......maybe it changes in wax?Oh God no ... this isn't Creme Brulee or even close IMO. -
Thanks so much for the great info. I am shopping for a new soy, mine has been discontinued! I love that.
Can you tell me, is this soy from Swan's? I couldn't remember who was carrying this brand. What is the FO load for this wax?
Thanks

Welcome!
It is exciting to make your first candles, I remember my first candle and I was a nervous wreak worrying about how to pour, wicks etc that I just fretted for days before finally giving it a go.
If you give us a little more info about your jars we can give you more accurate idea of burn times. I definitely get longer burns from my soy candles than paraffin, though.
-
I agree, in my soy I use alot of cottons and they shroom, but burn so well I just tell everyone to be sure to trim those wicks !
-
I think it is pretty similar to my nose
-
If you don't mind sharing, what soy do you use? I liked to get mine at Just Scent, as I was local, but they are discontinuing it.I just blend 100% soy with about 1% beeswax. It helps with frosting, burns more evenly, smooth tops and great throw. I've never bought a "pre-blended" soy, so I guess I don't have anything to compare my blend to. -
I like NG's too, and Orange Marmalade from JS is another yummy scent
-
I love KY's or AH's both are really yummy.
