this is what i brought i thing the round piece goes on the top of wick then you crimp it. let me know if this is correct

  2. its like 2-3.00 a pound but you can find it cheaper if you buy by bulk. With gel i have found they look great no matter what the wheather is unlike soy. I have done some pillars before and i didnt like all the clean up. I am going to make a couple in the next few weeks and will post pics i am waiting on some gel now. i have never messed with tea lights . I have found how to make gel candles on the internet with no problem really.

  3. I want to make a candle with gravel at the bottom and i am going to use a metal dragon. Do i need to put a stopper on the wick because of the gravel? Or it that just for sand? I have been doing alot of research and found that i can use glass and metal as embeds. What do you think????

  4. i love the forever candles, i wonder if you can add a picture to the gel and not have to worry about it starting a fire because the candle that will be burning is inside a glass. I was thinking i have seen some pictures on a web site but i forgot where. I think it would be really neat to add pictures to my candles but for me safety comes first.

  5. ok i sat back and waited relit the candle and cut the wick a bit burn pool is all the way across and now seems to be melting down like its suppose to. I have switched wicks three times. I love the way they smell my problem with soy is that ive been testing for over two months and still havent got one great candle , that i get with gel. Im going to keep working on it. thank you everyone....

  6. i found that because the gel looked pretty my customers didnt want to burn them so after a while they werent really buying more. Also just the cost of gel is so high i am going to by in bulk and see if i can make a profit now. I have never put a wax embed inside my gel just glass or metal maybe i will give it a try and see what happens.

  7. im still testing my soy and i have a great cold scent throw and very good hot scent throw. I do see some cold spots on the glass now , i heated my glass so why am i still having this problem? I have found that if i let my soy cool down before i pour i have a better candle. Anyone else do this, someone told me on here to let it get kind of slushy before i pour and i get a better candle. thank you

  8. i was wondering when we start selling candles what we need to do to follow laws. I know about the warning labels and i am getting my sales tax number , is there anything else i need to know or follow. I am going to keep testing every product before i sell them. I want the safetest candle i can sell. Thank you!!!!!!!

  9. I made gel candles for over a year and i quite making them for the price of gel just went to high. I started making soy candles and love the smell hate the frost. So I am going to be making gel again is there anything that can be done about the black sutt that comes from the gel candles while burning. I have brought gel candles and also this was a issue for me.
