I have been making gel for two years now maybe you should of first just made a gel candle without any embeds. I am just learning how to make the forever candles. With any candle it just takes pratice. As long as you follow the guidlines of fo and use a safe glass you should be fine. Some of the prettiest gel candles to me are just simply put in a wine glass. There very pretty. I m the same person who made 15 soy candles with the wrong wick before i realized it. So its trial and error.

sorry i just make them out of my apt, and i have to save up for the five hundred i guess i thougt is was like car insurance where you can pay a certain amount a month or something. I just do it in my spare time because i have a full time job and two kids to take care of. Right now five hundred is to much but i will save thank you.

i found a couple place one said four hundrend one will call me back tomorrow. Even though we dont make the wax or in my case gel for the candles insurance is the way to go right? IM new to this and not sure how it all works.

ok ive been making candles for two years and want to start selling to a company that will put them in about four to five stores. I need to get insurance i think but i have called five different place and everyone said no. I know there carry it on the beauty site but its five hundred dollars and i know i can find it cheaper. I live in illinois does anyone know of any good places, thank you

is there any insurance places out there that you dont have to pay the whole thing up front, I dont have five hundred dollars and want to start to sell. Most of my money went into supplies. I live in illinois and am have a hard time finding insurance for gel candles. thank you

thats what i had been doing a measuring spoon and a measuring cup, i think now im going to buy a small scale and do it that way. It might be a little easier. When i first brought my kit two years ago its said one half teapoon per pound of gel I had stuck to it. Now i read its up to 5 percent of fo. Thank you very much

i have been making gel candles for two years and have stayed at the 1/2 teapoon per pound of gel, at times this is enough fo others its to light. I know some pple has said they use up to .75 per pound. I am going to start selling the candles , not to just family and friends. I dont know if i need a buisness license or resale license or what. I have a company thats going to sell them in there retail shops they said i need a license. I m not sure what i need. With the fo issues my candles always have smelled good i have been testing for along time. I am only using fo that i have tested . I dont know if i should go up a little on the fragrance oil now that im going to be selling them or what? I know its up to 5 percent for medium density gel i juest dont want to put to much , i want a safe candle.

i use a measuring cup and havent really had a problem with it, i test all my fo because some are stronger and some are weaker.

IS all glitter safe for gel or do i need to buy a special kind, does anyone know how much per pound? thank you

i made two of the same candles one had a lot of bubbles one with little after putting it in the oven. I found i liked the one with bubbles more and so did everyone is ask to look at it. thank you

the funny part thats for one pound of gel are they crazy, i have been testing for along time and i know that if you put to much in your candle will be cloudy and or to much smoke.

I read on ebay someone is selling Medium denisty gel and the seller says you can put up to 1 oz of fragrance oil in the gel. I have made gel for a while now and that is way to much to me. If you put that much your gel will cloud. Not to mention the smoke you will get.

The first candle is a purple rose and i think it looks really good my camera isnt working or i would show a pic. It does have alot of small bubble but you cand still see the flower will good.

I have made gel candle for about two years now. I had mostly made them for friends and family. I now have a job offer as far as someone wants to put them in a store . Should i be worried about the little bubbles in the candle. I know that you can not make a bubble free gel candle. To tell you the truth i love the bubbles. I just want to make them look good also. What do you think fellow gel candle makers????????
