  1. kids put all sorts of things in their mouths - not just stuff that's intended for ingestion. beads are quite tempting...

I think it's great to be concerned - thanks for mentioning it.

Anything that is put in your mouth is a potential danger whether it contains lead or not. If someone chokes, lead or no lead won't matter.

  2. Check eBay. :smiley2:

I bought a boatload of these from there, and jewelry making supplies. The AB type are very pretty.

Sadly, I haven't had the time or inclination to put them to use.

Come on MA, get your butt in motion and start showing off your talents. :P

I buy mainly from www.artbeads.com, cause they have free shipping and prices are comprable to fire mountain, whom I also buy from. Both have lots of Swarovski.

AB and 2XAB has more shine so they look more elegant

    Show us what you make.

  3. HA HA the crabs will always be crabs, as Hawaiians say more makule (old) more pupule (crazy)

Nice to see the crew out in full form. :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I get my "real soap" from GG har

Oh no! I am going to respond with nothing more to say than you are all a bunch of catty ladies!

    oh and chill out!

Oh and I idn't answer until after I already posted!

oh crap and I have a ton of typos!

Don't pay attention to these crabby broads!

    Just live and let live!

I personally prefer to use shrink bags for my MP soaps. I get 4x6 shrink bags from WSP and use my heat gun to shrink it! I prefer this because I get NO sweating and many of my clear soaps are meant to stay clear and pretty so that you can see the embeds

  4. I've been making room sprays the old fashion way with great results for years, but yes some fos will make the sprays cloudy.

Water, polysorbate, witch hazel and skin safe fo. Yes skin safe, even if it's advertized as "room spray". If it get's on someone's skin, better to be safe than sorry.

I like cyclo for body sprays, because it's easy but as PA said it's not good if you have tile or hard floor. Ask me how I know LMAO :tongue2:

  5. I love looking at this section, I think everyone does amazing work. I know how addicting crafting, candles, B&B etc; can be and how much time and energy goes into it.

The finish product is what keeps me sane and I know it's the same for everyone.

Keep up the good work and keep posting your creations.

    :D

  6. Your local bead shop should have kits to start, this way you start small to see if beading is your nitch. Local shops are more expensive than buying online, so once you get into it, you can find some really good deals online. Read alot, look at different photos, get ideas that you can tweek to come up with your own designs.

It can get real addicting and costly, but you can make good $$$ too.

www.artbeads.com has free shipping which works great for me in Hawaii

    firemountain is another good site.

NOTE: stay away from Ebay, you never know what you'll get or if you'll get it. :grin2:
