  1. The candle is clearer in person, it's just that I only have my cellphone right now. I had purchased a digital camera that broke and then got another one and that broke so I just gave up, I'll have to try looking for another one.
  2. Please be nice, these pictures were taken with my cellphone, I had to return my digital camera. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r239/docsharp/Pic3.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r239/docsharp/Pic2.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r239/docsharp/Hurricane1.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r239/docsharp/Pic4.jpg This is the candle with a fake candle light.
  3. Just so you know Craft bubbles FO is great. I've gotten good cold and hot throw.. Very good product and it's on sale now... Very concentrated as well.
  4. Michelle, I sent you an email. I can offer you Web Hosting for a low cost and help you setup your website.
  5. I know what a turkey fryer is, I just didn't understand how it was being used with wax.
  6. Thank you... Do you know what a Turkey Fryer is?
  7. I agree, I'll really getting a good scent throw... I wonder why on one mentioned this on on the board.. Hobby Lobby does have at least 1 good brand...
  8. What is a tart and what is the purpose of using them? I tried searching on this but could not find out what they are. My guess is that they are small candles.
  9. I know Hobby Lobby isn't all that, but this one smells pretty good. I'm hoping for a miracle. I'm just playing around. I'm starting to like making candles but I'm getting the real stuff on Saturday.
  10. Have any of you heard of Crafty bubbles fragrance? I just bought some from Hobby Lobby and It has great Cold Throw, I plan to let it sit for a week before I test the hot throw. This is a wickless candle. I bought the melon scent.. it smells so good. I hope the scents I ordered from Nu-Scents smell as good as this one. Actually I went to the crafty bubbles website and they are selling it for $1.00 per oz. I paid 3.99 at Hobby Lobby for 1 oz. I think it's very concentrated. I might purchase some of there $1.00 bottles if my hot throw is good.
  11. I believe that can happen. After buying all of the supplies, I might as well make some money, but right now I'm only thinking in terms of gifts... I won't doubt that it could turn into a hobby... Thanks Pawz...
  12. To be honest, I wasn't even talking about Chris K. I never even looked at Chris's post, I have no clue. I did look at someone elses and they were pretty rude in their post.
  13. This Thread is about Bittercreek, not anyone's personal problems.
  14. I noticed that this paticular person is rude in most of there post.. I just blow it off. I noticed this on many forums that there is always a couple rude people.
  15. They are closer but you have to buy in bulk. I'm not ready to be a candle seller just yet. Plus they are closed on Saturday. I can pickup an order at Nuscents on Saturday. I'm glad you mentioned it, so if I ever decide to sell candles and need to get some good practice I can buy from degroate.
  16. Thanks Accent you've really help answer my questions. I will look into using the scents you suggested.
  17. As I've said in another post, I'm not asking about selling candles. I only want to make some small gifts. Probably wickless at that. I have another business designing websites and I'm really not looking to sell candles right now.
  18. Yes, thank you Accents. I'm not asking about selling. I'm have another business right now and I'm not looking for another one.. Oh I'm a female by the way, I get that all the time, no biggie. Anyway I got myself into a jam, I promised I would make candles and have been practicing for two weeks, these are only gifts and I'm not in it to sell. If they don't come out right thats fine but I wanted to take a stab at it. I know making candles require a lot of testing, I'll be sure to do that before I ever think of selling candles. Anyway thanks Accent and everyone for advice. I just wanted to know if Nusents had good FO's. I plan to by the CB135 (Soy) I've heard good things about it. Also I might be making all of these candles Wickless so I'm not so concerned about wicks and testing, mostly smell. I also know that all FO's may not work with with Soy, I'll just take my chances.
  19. I need to pick up the supplies by Saturday, That is the only day I will have to make candles. I want them to sit for at least a week. I'm just trying to find out if NU Scents have good FO's. I hear alot about Peak and Bittercreek but they are to far for me to drive to on Saturday.
