I use a serrated bread knife too.

Once they are a little firm, you can move them to a fridge too. I do that all the time and it really speeds up setting up time.

Same here...
Especially when I try something new in my loaf mold. I can't stand to wait too long to see how it turned out. Which is why my favorite part is the cutting.

Could it possibly be this?

Here is a thread about M&P...
Actually nevermind, not really the same thing. I'll look around a bit more to see if I can find what your talking about.

You can buy glycerin at your local Meijer for about $4. It's near the band-aids. It's a smaller bottle, but for me it's a good size because I don't make a large amount of soap.

It is a small world...

We live in Ferndale just outside of Detroit. I see you are in Allendale... is that in western Michigan?
-
You would use Dr Bronners to increase the bubbles/lather in your soap.

I have had issues with only one of my liquid colors leaving flecks, the ultramarine blue, but that only happened a couple of times and it was a very small amount of flecks. The rest of the colors blended in perfectly.

I'm sorry, I was wrong about the size, I have the 1/2 oz bottles.
When I purchased mine I made sure that they said non-bleeding in the description, and they also have a key at the top of the glycerin dispersed liquid colors page that you can follow...
"N" = non-bleeding; "C" = cosmetic grade; "S" = stable in high pH such as cold process soap and "M" = will morph (change colors) in high pH such as cold process soap.
So an example would be...
"Ultramarine Blue Liquid Concentrate NCS"
Ultramarine Blue is non-bleeding, cosmetic grade, and stable.
I haven't had any issues with bleeding, and I've been very happy with the colors.

Out of the colors in that sample pack I have used...
Tomato Red
Neon Yellow
Neon Green
Ultramarine Blue
Black Oxide
I also use TKB's Chocolate and Lavender
I purchased the 1 oz bottles and chose colors that would not bleed.
I think TKB's prices are good and the cost of shipping was fair. I would recommend them.

Ecosoya PB with a bit of J50.

Thank you ladies!

Thanks for the compliments.
kestagano04,
The Banana and Grass is detailed and time consuming. The last Coconut Lime I don't know how I swirled it as I've never done it before and didn't take notes. Hopefully I can do it again in the future.
That's how it is with my Ocean Breeze, it never turns out the same way twice.
Once again... very pretty soap. Thanks for sharing.

I love them!
I've been tempted to try embeds like the circles in the banana cream pie soap and the leaves in the grass soap. Is it difficult?
I love the look of the lime and coconut! Did you use a method of swirling similar to what you do with CP in the top layer?
-
Soooooooooooo pretty! I love the color.

Thank you everybody! I really appreciate your kind remarks.

Thank you CareBear.
That's similar to what I'm looking for, but not exactly what I was thinking of. I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I was last looking for that type of mold.
-
I'm trying to find a site where I can purchase shaped insert/tube molds for embeds. The type that you can make an embed with that would go the length of the loaf.
I know I have seen them in the past while web surfing, but I can't seem to find anything now. I am especially interested in a pine/Christmas tree shaped mold.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Candle Science here too!

Very cool! You did a great job.

I have never had any issues with goat's milk going rancid in my soap since I've been adding it. I don't sell either and plan on continuing to use it as an additive.
