i would def call and talk to someone else cause the first time you called they said they only had a partial pallet and then all of a sudden they had two and then it goes to having none. i don't think so. call them

I started doing house parties last year. Alot easier than shows, no overhead, no lugging everything! I do mine with two other ladies, one does soap, one jewelry--we all put out one thing, I did a veggie tray, one did a cake, the other cookies, some ice tea and couple bottles of soda. People came in, munched a little and spend their money! I was surprised that I made comparable sales at my house than I had at paid shows. I always do them a few weeks before a holiday so people can gift shop. I wish you luck, once people show, you will really enjoy yourself. Let us know how it goes.

P.S. There was just a post about this a few days ago and people posted some really good ideas, like JLDorrington--she had suggestions.

Well that's shitty. She just posted to be able to leave the negative cause she knows she was in the wrong and can't say anything else. She should have just left it alone but many people have the "I'll take ya down w/ me" attitude. Can you appeal the comment with ebay?

It's the same the other way around too. Some won't leave you good feedback unless you leave them some first. I have that all the time. I get emails telling me thanks for the fast payment but unless I leave them feedback first I get nothing. pppppffffttttt to them...lol

Anyway...how can a person be an unconfirmed newbie? That wording just struck me as odd.

I also hate that ebay only gives you a small number of characters to reply.

she can appeal but it will get her nowhere both party's will have to decide to withdrawl their feedback entirely. and sometimes it cost money to actually file the appeal. you can do it for free but all they do is send an e-mail to the other person saying an appeal has been filed and would they like to honor it or something if they don't you have to pay to push for it. wasn't worth it for me for one neg

here's the diaper cake i made for hubbys cousins baby shower. sorry pics are so big. to tired to keep fighting with them lol. each teir is solid diapers, extras are a duck pouf, knit cap, 2 bibs, 2 pairs of socks, pair of booties, 2 pacifiers, and random sample/travel size baby products theres a sample size balmex and a lotion then the rest are travel size lotion, shampoo, body wash, and powder.

Ok now I'm really ticked off. This candlemania person that screwed me on the molds, has now left a childish remark on my ebay. I left her a negative comment because I have a right to. I did everything I was supposed to as far as paying for the molds right away (like immeaditely) and everything. Now because of something that has happened to her family, I get screwed out of it not only by not getting what I paid for, but she's leaving neg. feed back on my ebay??? How in the hell does this make sense?? Here's what she put.

Um...excuse me?? First of all I'm not a 'NEWBIE', second where does she get off stating I leave negatives (plural meaning more than one)? This is the first time I've left a negative for anyone ever on ebay AND it's my first neg that I didn't even deserve!!! GGRRRRRR I am so mad! Plus where does it say in the 'policies and procedures' that if your daughter gets sick and you have to shut down your business and I get screwed in the matter I can't bitch about it? It's supposed to be okay right? Am I over reacting?

i'm sorry that happened. but if you look at the second page of this thread i mentioned it almost always happens. if you leave neg feed back you have to expect it in return. it sux i have a neg mark on mine because of someone who got ticked cause i left her neg.

So make it easy to spell, something most people won't have to guess at. Something easy to remember, or at least whatever you use for your website make it easy to remember. You do NOT have to use the entire name for your website. Shorter is usually better. A good example of this is another member on here. Her company is LeoLily's Handmade Luxuries. But the website is simply leolilys.com. The full name would be a pain to fit on business cards, labels, etc. (hope she doesn't mind me using her as an example!) We did the same with our retail company. The website address is not our full company name.

of course we don't mind u using us as an example. actually we take as a compliment that you know/ remember us.

I just wanted to thank Jenn for adding my info to this thread and to let everyone know I have added a bit more stuff to the site. I still have a ton left to add tho. I make everything for weddings, receptions, and showers too.

becky- IMO (and please don't anyone jump on me its just my opinion lol) incorperating state or city names or attraction names is highly overdone. and def not gonna give you the clean lines and modern look your going for. i'd go for something more personal.

my biz is a partnership we took the first part of my dd's first name and her dd's middle name and got leolily added an s and played around with the rest until we got handmade luxuries. (it was gonna be leolilys little luxuries but to much of a tongue twister)

Well, the person that I paid never responded to pms and to emails or to paypal. After I wrote and posted, I thought...I've offered wicks to people etc. so maybe I didn't word it correctly. There have been no posts since this, so at first I felt she was sick or ? But after awhile, you just feel ripped off and then I went ahead with the paypal thing. All (but this one) the other people I've had dealings with have been super. Beth

did you leave negative feedback? that usually gets their attention. although you do have to be prepared for return negs. i bought a sewing machine off e-bay and after 3 weeks of messaging her to find out where it was it arrived. i left a neg feedback because she never got back to me and the slow shipping. she left negative feedback and her comment was thanx for the fast payment. ALOT of people leave neg feedback as retaliation. its sad

i live in south jersey its flat as a pancake out here. and i wish i had the money for a tread mill.. we were gonna use the tax return but then realized we had over $4,000 worth of debt... hmmm we could always pay off the old debt and start working on next years. lol

ok caffine right off that list lol. nothing is worth that.

For the green tea you could add green tea extract to the butter, also try adding a bit of cocoa butter with a little vitmain e and collagen which I believe I saw at ingredientstodiefor. Or you could try using the ingredients and incorporating them into an emulsified body butter with jojoba as the oil. HTH

suprisingly the few times i used the cellulite scrub i made did make a small difference and i mean the very few times but those oily suger scrubs skeeve me out lol so i'm hoping to figure something out with these ingredients cause my stomache is just destroyed from pregnancy. i need firming and some magical concoction to get ride of stretch marks lol. not to mention something for my haildents. i love when people look at my and go ohhh you don't need to loose weight. all i can think is yeah you can't see the cottage cheese all over the place
