  1. Yup, Jim's is good, but living in South Phila. I know of 2 other places that vie for First Place in my book! One of them actually won Best Cheesesteak in Philly awards!

whenever i'm around my fathers house i get cheesesteaks from old london pizza we used to get that all the time after my parents divorced... i don't even know if their still open. they always had THE BEST cheesesteaks.

  2. awww hon big hug.. it'll be fine just having pride in what your doing is great. and don't get down when you do show with similar vendors its always gonna happen. even shows that say they only allow one vendor for products they usually lie. but if your product is good people will realize that.

    good luck

  3. i you purchase labels from labels by the sheet they have templates you can download. other then that it all depends on the size of the label. i usually use avery templates but they don't have a 2 inch circle (or atleast i think thats the size) so its rough.

i use labe factory pro. there's an option for creating your own custom template

  4. for as long as i can remember any shower that i went to had an umbrella overtop of where ever the woman was sitting. i can't remember the exact tradition i'll see what i can find but so far i have

    Decorations

This is a very personal decision and completely up to you. You can use streamers and balloons or try something a little different. The major decoration piece is the umbrella. This umbrella hangs upside-down above the chair that the guest of honor will sit in. Streamers often hang down from the sides. You should be able to find all of these materials at your local craft stores

  5. boy, girl, not know yet, don't want to know? come on give up the details. lol

ducky's are a safe bet, but you may want to work with whatever theme they have picked out for the baby.

diaper cakes make awesome center peices. and for favors DO NOT get baby powder scented candles. 9 out of 10 people do not like them. i have a favor order i'm doing the woman insisted on baby powder i finally got her to agree to angel wings cause its got vanilla so its not as harsh.

the clothes pin game is fun, everyone gets a pin when they come in and their not allowed to say baby, if someone catches them saying baby they get to take their pin whoever has the most at the end of the shower wins a prize.

another great thing is a clothesline. put on the invitation for everyone to bring an unwrapped article of clothing. when they get there put a number on on the outfit using removable stickers and have the person write down their number or you can write everyones name and number down on a peice of paper. hang all the clothes on a clothing line strung around the room. towards the end of the shower have a drawing for the winner. (also doubles as decorations)

and i highly suggest renting an umbrella or buying a cheapo and decorating it. i can't count how many showers i've been to (bridal and baby) and there was no umbrella. what happened to tradition.

and make sure you make a plate hat out of a paper plate and the bows from the gifts its always fun seeing the mom to be wearing it.. and get pics.

and a link for good stuffs http://baby-shower-games-etc.com/baby_shower_ideas.htm

thought of another game, this is one my mom had at mine. buy a thing of yarn everyone has to cut a peice as long as they think will wrap around the momma's waist without overlapping closest one wins

  6. Yeah and people moving to NJ just for the gas lol.

the gas prices aren't worth living out here IMO lol.

i'm amazed at how high the prices are in sorrounding areas.. like voorhees is and hour away from here and their prices are almost if not over $3. this seems to be the cheaper area in NJ. but that'll change come summer. thats when we get it. all the flippin vacationers.

  7. i'm so glad gas prices aren't to bad out here $2.70 for the most part and considering we live not to far from the shore were counting out blessings on that.

i think craft shows are starting to become a dying art. maybe that will change. economy in general is rough right now

  8. OMG you will love dave and busters... the restaurant there is great. and the games are awesome i used to go there all the time... i miss that place.

and i'm horrible with names but i'm pretty sure the cheesesteak place i go to is pat's. on south street. you get your food downstairs then go up stairs and there's pics of all kinda of famous people who have eaten there. its so cool and you can look out the window over south street. yeah you just definitly have to go to south street. (don't go at night i don't advise it)

  9. you know honestly i don't think thats enough soap and i expect to see alot ALOT more next time. and as for the ones you did post their absolutly horrible and i think you should just send them to all the ct'rs so that we can dispose of them properly. i hope you will try harder next time to please us better.

    LOL:D

ok now honestly those are some of the nicest soaps i have ever seen. really really nice

  10. That has got to be the hardest thing I've ever had to look at. I have seen some awesome diaper cakes. I can give you the links if you'd like to see how they should look.

diaper cakes should look however the designer wants them to especially since for this particular cake she was working with a theme

  11. I don't get it.

LOL, that's not nearly enough....she could use a lot more. LMAO. Trust me.

i never used that many newborns my dd was born 8lbs 1oz, her baby is going to be bigger so i know her baby definitly won't use 5 packs.
