I found using 1.5 oz. of FO per pound helps with some of my lighter FOs in C3.

Thanks everyone. I started burning it this morning. The melt pool looks really good. so far there is no soot on the sides candle. The HT throw in my room is really great. But when I put it into a bigger room the scent was a little weak. So when I make the next one I will let it sit a few days. I was just so excited I coulden't wait to burn it But overall I am really happy about the way this candle turned out. This is auctally the first jar candle I have really made that worked out for me. Congratulations!.... sooner or later you're bound to get the perfect combo... sounds like you did just that.

The wax was on sale recently for $43/case. I got another case before the sale was over.
I have a spare room in my apartment and you can use the kitchen to make candles- it hardly gets used for cooking. LOL
Beautiful candles..... how fortunate to have an extra room just for the candle supplies!

I've been testing the Accsoy 24 for votives the past several weeks. So far, working out very well. Only observation is that as you would expect with a pillar wax, I have experienced FO sweating with some fragrances that I didn't have with my previous wax mix of V-1 & C-3.

I love votives, actually it's the only candle I can make well! I don't repour though.

Nice work!

Ditto the air freshners idea!

Looks like a lot of work went into the prep. Nice, stromg colors!

I use a hot temp glue gun with hot temp glue sticks from Dollar Store. Prefer them over silicone as easier to remove yet when the candle is done. They don't shift on me while burning either.

They look very nice and professional! Love the wax colors!
-
Very nice! The red and green colors are quite lovely with the white. Are they flowers?

I've also had better luck with LXs in vegetable wax in general.
-
I used blackberry sage and liquid dye in V-1/C-3 and didn't have to wick up.
-
I think your colors look really vibrant and well-matched!
-
Very creamy! How are you going to package it?
-
Beautiful colors! Looks really creamy

Both look really great. My fav is the black raspberry vanilla swirl!

I just purchased Accusoy 24 and tried pillars. What a disaster, but then I'm a newbie to pillars. Cracked from top to bottom, but then I had same experience with Naturewax P1. Thought it was just me but I searched and found that cracks may be a problem with soy pillars. Didn't find any tips, but if anyone has any I'd love to know. Some would crack after I burned the candle and it cooled. May stick to votives..........

I like the white tops, it's very different. Looks like cream!

What about one of the cake fragrances, maybe even matched with the kind of cake they have?

You do such beautiful work! Your color combinations are lovely!
