  1. Don't forget Love Spell lol... some of the other fav's are Passionate Kisses, Cinnamon Red Hots, Merlot Wine, Lick Me All Over, Misbehaivin', Pink Sugar. My SIL just begged for Cool Water too...

    All of those are NG's.

My kids were SO cute when I poured Love Spell today... my 7 yob goes wandering around sniffing til he found me in the basement kitchen (candle-zone). He goes "What's that WONDERFUL smell!!!" I couldn't help but remember all those on here who hate it!!! He also gave thumbs way up to Passionate Kisses, Pink Sugar and Cinnamon Red Hots. He said that Merlot was "OK", but he didn't like Misbehaivin' (and I didn't tell him the names, so that wasn't it lol).

So you have a 7 yo's review now lol...

  2. I'm doing 4 and 8 oz clear window tins that I'll color for sure, but am strongly considering going white with my glass containers and using the "right" color ribbon and a silver toned charm so as to avoid having to look at frost spots... I'm still thinking about that though. I still think it's amazing how many people don't even notice frosting or think that it's cool looking.

  3. And, while I am personally boycotting C&S, I did use their votive blend wax and it was great too. Good luck!

I'm boycotting too... ughhh... and I really like their short neck wick tabs in my shorter containers....

who is beginning to think that soy should really be colorless and is NOT looking forward to red Valentine's colors...

  4. I placed an order with Candles and Supplies (yes, I hear all the voices and see the eyes rolling lolol). I got a notice this morning that part of my order had shipped, but not the whole thing- they only had one case of 8 oz hourglass jars and none of the 14 oz. Does anyone else carry the other sizes? I'm only finding 8 oz jars at all other sites. C&S emailed me this afternoon (I called them this morning) to ask me how many I thought I needed cause they were going to contact the manufacturer... hmm... how about the number that I ORDERED?!?! lol. I told them that I needed the case of 14 oz immediately cause I hadn't used them before and planned on testing them relentlessly the next couple weeks. I ended up telling them that if they couldn't have them to me in under 2 weeks to cancel the order.

Now then, anyone else have them or shall I just look for a different jar (I know, I should look for another jar anyway lol)...

BTW- I'm in the Southeast... so I prefer not a west coast supplier (Cierra)

    Thanks in advance!

  5. I also do NG's Orange Clove. But another good one from them is Friendship Tea- it's a spiced orange with maybe a touch of a tea scent (not that noticeable). It's supposed to smell like that Russian Tea made with Tang and Instant Tea mix. Just about everyone loves Friendship Tea and it's strong in soy.

  6. I did containers with chunks- make up about half the wax you'll need for the candle (chunk color and fragrance) and pour into a small pan that's lined with foil and lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Let it harden (I froze mine for a few minutes- I didn't really care how it looked when it hardened) and cut into chunks while still fairly soft. The chunks are still warm on the inside. While they're warm, pour them into your container, making sure to press many to the glass to adhere them well. While you're doing this, prepare your other half of wax and let it get slushy. Then pour over the chunks, tapping the sides of the container to help with air bubbles. I did this with Jack Frost FO, red chunks and white overpour in C-3 wax.
