  1. Anyone heard of this scent? My DH brought home a room freshner last night from someone he works with. The scent was called 5%. I have look all over and can't find anything with this name. I'm thinking that it has been renamed. Very manly.
  2. When I had this in testing I asked my testers what color they "saw" when they smelled it burning and all but one said to leave it white (10 Testers). So that is what I did and I can't keep it in stock. Some tell me they like it because it will go in any room because it has no color. And like LadySJ said it is a white flower so it works that way too. Question: Do you love the scent?
  3. I pour in soy and use square masons and use XL 21. No problem getting a good melt pool or scent throw.
  4. I order from Taylored, they have some items that I can't get anywhere else. Like Texas Sunset, Texas Bluebonnets, Sun Washed Linen, Monkey Farts. To name a few. They have so unusual scent, and it can make your head spin to go into their showroom and see the shelves of FOs, I want to take some of almost everything. I slso use the Creme Burlee, I have tried others but my customer base like theire best.( my#1 seller) I went to Green Leaf because I have real sucess with their 70/30 wax and using their FOs worked real well for me. The other reason I use them is I can P/U and save in shipping. Taylored is about the only place I can get my jars and save on shipping. I pay a little more but it still is less than shipping costs. And My DH's office is right down the street. So when I need something it's a phone call away:cheesy2:
  5. Taylored Concepts has on call Texas Sunset. Their description- Wild East Texas Honeysuckle. Very strong and great cold and hot throw, and very different from any other I have smelt.
  6. Try 2nd Skin Scar Gel made by Spenco Medical Corp. Try this site. http://www.spenco.com.
  7. Sorry, I am so lost. Is that clear soap with a soap or rubber fish? If so that is too cute.
  8. Try Bottles and Tops. I think maybe they have the jars you are looking for. But the shipping is high, for me any how. I'm in Texas. It cost as much for the shipping as it does for the jars. I can't do business with prices that high.
  9. We call it "His Essence". And I put scriptures from the bible on them in addition to my lable.
  10. Well if you respect her opinion (alot) why would you ask for other opinions? And remember you did ask. Hope that Taylored works out for you.
  11. Not great! There is another vendor in the same area that has great 70/30, 70%soy. Cold and hot throws are great. I have tested many waxes from vendors in the area and IMO Green Leaf has the best product and their oils are the best. But that is just me.
  12. I have used their 70/30 blend which is only 30% soy and I also useed their 100% soy (sorry can't tell you the blend name or stock #) I did not have luck with the two of them. The soy would not behave in my container. I pour in 16oz square Masons. And I had too much soot from the other. I tried all the wickes that they suggested with no luck. So I went to another supplier.
  13. Go for it!!!! I got one last week. It has mad my life so simple. I can hear the chanting now "NO MORE REPOUR, NO MORE REPOUR" Set the poor baby free from it's prison. You will be the winner!!!!
  14. Just showed this to my DH, Thank you, thank you, thank you. We had a hot water heater leak a couple of years ago and all the hard wood flooring buckled. We had it replaced, but DH just could not throw out the old stuff. It's been collecting dust for about 4 years. BUT NOW.......... Boy is he going to be sorry he bought me the candle company!!!! Thanks again for your idea WAY TO GO!!!!!!
  15. when you say pour cooler do you mean to have the temp of my wax cooler? :confused:Sorry to be a pain I just don't know the lingo yet. Thanks for the help!!!!
  16. Thanks for the info. Now I know I don't have a problems with frosting. So do any of you have the wax pulling away from the container? If so how do you fix it?
  17. I'm new at all this candle making stuff. My DH came home one day and handed me a business card and said "Here I bought you a Candle Company" Thank Dear!!!! Well from the first pour I was hooked. My Question would be; I keep reading about "frosting" but have never seen any pictures. (I pour container candles in soy). Is this where the wax pulls away from the jars, and looks like air pockets? I have some candle that do this but not all. How do I get them to not do it? Or should I worry about it at all. My customers don't seem to mind. But DH has a fit saying that they don't look prof. I keep sayin that it's the charm of having a hand poured candle. Am I wrong in my thinking? A little help for a Newbie would be great!!!!!
