    I have tried almost everybody's Gingerbread..............SNOWTOP has the BEST! Gingerbread Cookies! GREAT STRONG THROW! HTH

    Not really sure, but I heat my wax too 175 degrees and add color/uv inhibitor, then let it cool down a bit (maybe around 160) add fragrance oil, stir a bit and pour. I never really paid attention to how hot it was. HTH

    If you don't have good luck with the Jar Store, try Fillmore Container! They are great! Never had a problem with them at all!

    I have tried to think of another name for it so I can carry it in my line all year! I love it! I will keep watching your post......................hopefully someone will come up with a good name!

    I use 100% Soy and have been using the dye flakes. (Just recently started experimenting with the liquid dyes.) The best flakes I have found are from Kentucky Candle Supply. THEY ARE AWESOME!!! Also, Mill Creek and Bittercreek have good ones too! I find the dye flakes are easier than the color blocks. HTH:D

    I have poured Flannel Sheets (Rustic's) and I used a blue dye chip, thinking that would be a pretty color, but with the color of the oil itself (yellow/gold) it turned the wax to a BEAUTIFUL light green! It's a good smelling oil, but not too strong in the wax! HTH

    HAHAHAHAHA Oh my gosh! Can you tell I have been stressed lately??? I posted twice!!! And my comments were almost the same! I always try and help anybody when they ask questions.............. Guess I better start going through ALL the PAGES first before I reply! Oh well, double answers aren't that bad!!

    Do you have a Sam's Wholesale club near you? I get a clear plastic 6.25 in plates. I think I paid something like $7.67 for 70 plates. They are perfect for dipped critters! HTH:D

    Fillmore is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheapest around! Excellent service too! I use 60-44-18Cotton wicks in mine with 100% SOY and they work great! I have to wick up some of the heavier oils with cinnamon, but other than that they work excellent! HTH:D

    I don't see a problem with it! I don't use cheap jars from China and my customers love it! And no, I don't cash in a bunch of jars at a time either! I only take them off a candle order (usually it's 1 for 1). To me it's like recycling. I use the Square Mason jars and I would hate to think someone would just throw them away after they burn the candle up. I guess it's everybody's choice as to what to offer their customers. I know I have a lot of regular customers because of the offer I make!

    Most of the jars are not any different than canning jars! I have been using my canning jars for years with no problem! Think about it, they get hot too! As long as you know what to look for and check them before you use them! As far as the refill kit, no I don't think that would be a good idea! It could be dangerous for some people not knowing what they are doing!:undecided

    I definitely do the re-cycle thing! I offer my customers $1.00 off their next candle for returning the jar and lid when they are finished with the candle. I even clean the jar up! I use soy wax, so clean up is easy! I don't think it hurts to use the jar over and over as long as there are no cracks in it. You would be surprised on how much you save by doing that! Also, it gives the customer an incentive to buy more! HTH Merry Christmas all!

    I have a lady who is wanting a cat dipped for her grandaughter! Does anyone have any they want to get rid of? Doesn't really matter what the color is. Open for suggestions as to where I can purchase any other critters other than bears. THANKS!!!!

    The Natural Artisian has a Balsalm Fir that is AWESOME in soy! I'm like you.....I have tried many different out there. I found theirs to be the best for me!
