Thanks... i lucked out. i found a program at Ollies for $6.00. It usually sellsfor $24.00. It it called Scapbook designer by Broderbund. I snatched that baby up!! I just got into making candles. Does anyone know what I should charge for them??? They are just halfpint jelly jars. I was thinking about $6.50. I don't want to overcharge... but I also want to be able to profit. Thanks Lisa

I just started making candles. I use the mason jelly jars half pint. I made labels for them and they look pretty neat. I took pics, now I need to figure out how to send them. Question is....... what I a good price to charge for them?? Lisa

The previous candles did not have a good scent throw, so I redid them, adding more scent. I am using a very hard slab wax. I bought it from a local candle shop. He does not usually sell supplies. Anyway, it looks like a paraffin type. But I had some leftover blended wax and I mixed them together to use it up. Can you tell i am new!! Anyway can i also ask you about wicks. I am using LX18 and LX20 How does one know when to increase the wick size for certain scents, if they are heavier. How do u determine that??:undecided Thanks soooo much for your help... Lisa

Hi I am kind of new to candle making. Question about wicks. I am using parrafin wax, the jars I am using are jelly jars. What would be the best wick for the jar? Someone said RRD40 or LX18. Any suggestions?? Also about scents what is the usual ratio per pound of wax? I have been using 3tbls. Does anyone know where to get good quality scents?? One morething I have Vybar that I never used. Is it worth using?? I mean does it really help with the scent throw. Thanks so much. Lisa
