My first craft show was not great for me or anyone else. It was a school affair with about 60 vendors and no one had a great day except the balloon yo-yo guy. 100's of peeps went through but I'd guess not more than 10 of us made or booth fee ($40). I doubled mine but that's not saying anything. Here's some pics though

I had a bad day a the craft show that i was at too. The other vendors didn't fair as well either. Alot of people stopped to look and comment on how nice the candles smelled and liked the display......... Waste of a day. I do better selling thru friends and where my daaughter works. I wonder how candle selling on Ebay is???

I havent been posting on here alot, just observing mostly, but I have burned tons and tons of candles with the fabric tied around it and never had a problem. To each there own however. Good job on them they look really nice, I love the prim/country look.
Hey there, thanks so much for the positive feedback.

Very cute..
Also I think she is just burning them like this to show us.
Thank you,

I wouldn't be burning them with all that material on them. I would think you would know better.
I did it just to post the photos of the finished product. Wish they were fire retardent.

Here are the grubby jars with the lights off with only the candle light showing thru the jars. I made my own lables staining them in tea solution, but am not very good when it comes to the script. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Wow, i think i would cancel my order, at least on that scent. LOL

I hope not. I added some glue to the mixture. it feels pretty hard and fast to the jar. You could add some kind of clear matte spray paint to be sure.

Thanks for the help!!

Can someone tell me what the correct melting pool time should be for a 3in diameter candle. It is a 10 oz jar .Wax is parafin blend. it seems like my melting pools are full in a half an hour, 1/4in. I know that is not correct, and i have to wick down. What is the appox melting pool time I should be shooting for. Thanks, Lisa

Thanks alot. These are just for gifts, If i get good enough I might consider selling. I am using CBL-125 and 25% pariffin ( want to use up the case that I have. Wasn't crazy about it.)
