Is your mold from Ginger? Which one do you have? I have the large electic grubby and I usually take the little thing in the middle (the part that is sticking up) and twist that around a couple times to make sure I loosened it and then I turn it over and I put pressure on the middle of the bottom of the mold and then I work my hand in it to pull the top of the candle out or at least loosen it from the mold. OH....
I also cut an extra slit in it to make it easier.....try that.
You may have to twist and pull at first but it should come out. Also the first time I used mine, I was ready to send them back, but now it is easier for me to get them out since I have developed a method to the madness.
Is yours yellow???

I want to make a hole in the jar to run a plug thru for a silicone candle light. I'm sure you've seen them. You add rosehips, pine cones ect and add a homespun cloth around the top of the jar. Makes it really prim looking. Some body in the family wants one. I callled AC Moore and they said you uese a diamond cut drill bit and keep it lubricated as you cut. LIsa

Can someone tell me what size diamond core drill bit is needed for drilling a hole in a mason jar, to get a plug thru?? Sure would appreciate any help. Thanks Lisa

I was serching around a different websites today. I saw the neat prim jars that had electric candles in side of them. Does anyone know if you buy the jars with the hole for the cord already made in it, or is there way to do it yourself. I have seen these before and often wondered about it. Thanks , Lisa

Hi, I have been off work for almost a year now from a work related injury. I found this site and decided to try my hand at candles. I have posted several picture of my candles and have been getting favorable opinions. You all have been so helpful, I could not have done it without you :highfive: . Making candles has been very theraputic, it has saved my sanity (my husband would argue that) I need to know how to go about selling them now. All these candles and no place to go. What is the best way to go?? ... EBay??

those look really nice. Did you actually fill the jars with container wax or did you put a votive in them. They look really nice when they are burning! Good job!
I actually had the jars already poured, and turned them upside down, painted the stuff on, let it dry turned it over, and touch up near the rim. Last night i painted some empy jars, gonna pour today. Thanks for looking and the feedback

Hi, I am finally comfortable with making container candles. I'd like to try making pillars. There seems to be many of you making them, and doing a great job. Are they difficult to make. Do they require a different typ of wax? ( can soy be used ) Are they a better seller than containers? thanks...:smiley2:
