  1. Thanks soapman..So I would you just a normal recipe, with all the oils and butters? Does the milk take the place of the water?

Yes! I do use aloe vera juice to mix my lye slurry with. I use the farm fresh (yet soured) goat milk at complete emulsification. I do add a heaping teaspoon of powdered goat milk to replace the aloe vera juice i used to mix my lye slurry in. I can honestly say I have a 100% goat milk soap. It's would be the same as adding dried aloe vera powder to the milk, just in reverse!

Thanks for asking. I really love soured goat milk soap!

    Paul....:wink2:

  2. I make a soured goat milk soap. Because of the natural occurring sodium lactate, the bars get nice and hard after a good cure! I think a soured farm fresh goat milk recipe is even better than my regular goat milk recipe. I just take the soured cold goat milk and stick blend until all smoothed out and combined and soap as usual. No stink, only a great bar of goat milk soap.

  3. Well thank you guys so very much for those wonderful, kind, sincere words! That is so kind of you!

I got the results this week. The Dr told me the report was the tumor was a stage 2! But the good news was that after he removed 22 lymph nodes, none of them had any cancer cells! I will not be requiring chemo-therapy! I did so great in recovering from his new procedure to remove a tumor in a colon, a medical journal is going to include my case for article! He was a great DR! I had Surgery and was in recovery at noon Thursday, and left the hospital at noon on Saturday! Only 48 hours later! I have my staples removed tomorrow!

    Thanks everyone again!

I am ready to get busy in the TOG Mold Shop!

    Bring it on!

    Paul....So very happy!

  4. Thanks everyone! The new one is re-listed again, on sale until midnight tonight! Thanks for everyone's vote of confidence! Missed you guys during my surgery, but all went better than expected! They removed 11 inches of my colon and 22 lymph nodes! None of the lymph nodes had any cancer cells! I do not need chemo! Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, lit candles, it all worked!

Blessings to all of you guys!:D

Firegirl, I would be very happy if you hosted a Co-Op!:D :D

    Paul....:cool2:

  5. I went to his Etsy page to see if I could find an e-mail. I don't know if I'm just missing it, but I was hoping to find a way of contacting him without needing to do this!

    :D

Hey TOG Man! (Paul, isn't it???) I'm hoping to get some quotes on some cutters, one will be a custom order. Please feel free to PM me or e-mail me at lindsay@soapersworkshop.com.

    THANKS!!!

Hi Lindsay! Got your e-mail and PM. I'll work on that special TOG Wire Log Cutter for you. I gotta head back to the TOG Shop right now and get busy. I was in for Dinner and to check mail and PM's. Thanks!...

    Thanks to you, too, CareBear!:D

  6. Guys, can't keep up with the sales!:cool2: I've been working on orders and running back into the house to check on orders and reviews! Whew, but I relisted a few more and they are ready to go. After tonight at midnight, the price goes back up to the regular $79.00. Thanks so much guys!

I truely think they are as every bit as good as the "big guy" but a heck of a lot less!:D

    Paul.... :)

  7. :D One Of these days I want to be the owner of one of these..

I am buying my soap supplies a little at a time..and that takes time. lol

That is the way to do it! When you get ready, we'll be happy to work on one for you, too. Thanks! Have a great Labor Day Weekend everyone!:cool2:

    Paul....:)

  8. Ok, I'm looking at the 8 wire log cutter, and in the description it says this:.

3" soap height seems awfully squatty IMO, and I know that most of mine are much bigger than that so I'm curious about this. ??

Is your log of soap taller that 2-1/2 inches? Most bars of soap are @3-1/2" by 2" to 2-1/2" tall and this cutter handles that just fine. Since there are no width requirements you can make your log any width and any length. All you do is simply place the log into the cutting area which has a end stop and a side stop, make a cut, get 7 bars of soap, remove your cut bars, slide down the rest of your log to the end stop, then cut again. Most logs can be cut in 2 cycles, up to 16" log. You can cut a 16" log in under 1 minute. It is truely built like a tank as far as strength is concerned....:D

  9. Hi Paul, I ordered your soap cutter today. I'm so excited! You sound like a good guy :). Thanks for offering high quality products at affordable prices.

Thank you for your order! I'll have it to you next week! Thanks again!

    Paul....:smiley2:

  10. I'm here guys! Been really busy in the TOG Shop! Thanks for the rave Carol! I'm sooo glad you love this one! I can't see why others charge so very much for their products! Amazing really! I want to produce a quality product, make a reasonable profit, and help as many of my soapmaking friends as I can. We are living in tough time financially, so I want to keep my prices as reasonable as possible, yet produce a high quality product that I will NOT RUSH through to complete! Thanks again friends!

Look at my site as I have added new items!

  11. Thank you for the input I just sold my 3 bars of cocoa butter soap and wanted to try this one since it's higher in cocoa butter. :) I can't wait til my new mold from Paul get's here.

I'll be sending it out first thing Tuesday, since Monday is Labor Day. I think you are going to live this TOG Mold. It is a newer design I worked out. Thanks ladies. CareBears recipe has a spot in my heart as well. Hope she got her new TOG 6 wire Cutter today.:)

    Paul....:D

  12. :smiley2: Yea, I love soapcalc.com! It has taught me a lot over the past 2 years, and now am starting to learn what "synergies" the oils produce when combined with the correct other oils to produce a nice bar of soap! Your recipe sounds really nice to me, and it is close to my recipe! Congradulations!

    Paul....:smiley2:

  13. Thanks Paul :) I just ordered it. I've been looking for one I could afford. :) :)

Thank you, Sandra!:D I'll get it sent off to you pronto! I think you will love the simple design and the way it removes just enough soap to leave a noce bevel to your bar of soap.

    Paul....

  14. Bought some coconut oil and was surprised that it was liquid instead of the solid I got before. Is there any difference?

I use it in M&P to help harden my soap. I suppose it won't make any difference in M&P. But I still would like to know if there is any significant difference I should be aware of.

Was it 76* or 92*? If it was hotter than 76 degrees, it melted, that's normal. No problems! There are 2 different melting points for 2 types of coconut oil. The second one is a tad harder and thus, melts at a higher temperature. Bring it inside, to a cooler room, and it will re-solidify.

    Paul....

  15. I'll do a batch in the morning using 100% CO, with a 20% lye discount, using both GM and CM as the liquids and see what happens in a week when I test it. I use the Lou-Ann CO from Wal-Mart all the time, it is 76*.

    Paul....:smiley2:
