    Thank you everyone for the mineral oil tip. I used it, made soap, out of the molds already with no problems! Oils melting for batch #2 now!!! I'm soooo happy!

    :cry2: I have ruined so many batches of soap trying to dig them out of my blue half moon soap molds. I've tried several different recipes, but so far the end results are always the same, ruined bars of soap, with knife scrapes on the sides or dig holes in the ends. I've tried freezing too with no luck! Does anyone have a tried and true soap recipe that actually comes out of the blue molds with little problems? I've found that people like this style of soap but sure can't sell it the way it looks in the end. Help!!

    OK, made a small batch to test this morning. I only added 1/8 t. of the menthol crystals. Very warming on my lips, does not burn at all. Nice menthol flavor and smell. I think this will work fine!

    I'm planning on trying this tomorrow in lip balms. I'll let you know how it does, but I did find a lip balm recipe with the menthol crystals, so I feel better about it now. Thanks Chris!!!! Your very kind!

    I made some great foot fizzie already, added some tea-tree and peppermint EO along with the MC's..I used a normal bath bomb recipe plus some epsom salts. Super fizz! They are wonderful.

    This is very interesting material to read, thanks for the link. I'm still un-decided though. I think I would test it myself in a very small batch first. Then if my lips burn away I'll know this isn't a good thing! Thanks again for the link!

    Can anyone tell me if this is a do or a don't? I think just the tiniest amount would make an awesome lip balm. But won't do it until I get some more professional opinions. I did not recieve an info with my crystals when I bought them, so unsure of any warnings that might go along with their use. Thanks!
