  1. it is stiff actually. I wouldn't recommend putting scrubs in malibus personally. and..yep, it is "the holy grail" with added ingredients.
  2. I haven't been around on this forum too much..Real life and such, but here's a recent pic of some emulsified sugar scrub that I've been enjoying lately. Scented with SW's London Lemon Curd.
  3. :highfive: Hey Cara! I didn't know that you post here! I don't come in here too often, but saw your name and missed you today, so thought I'd say HI! Get your backside back on msn! LOL
  4. eeeek! custard!!!! LOL The one dessert thing I never liked much. :tiptoe: <----sneaking away
  5. Cut pics of that soap: I think that "lightened top" may just keep it's lightness..time will tell though, as I know that bottom is going to darken up quite a bit, right now it almost looks a pumpkin color.
  6. Michi: Love your sigline!!! The mold is actually a three part breakaway mold that I bought used from another soaper. It holds when all three sections are full approx. 15-20 lbs of soap, depending on how high I fill it. I LOVE this mold for my larger batches.
  7. We're getting our FIRST snowfall today, so I decided since I am going to stay in...I'll made a new scent blend. Just putting it to bed (CP this time) scented with three different Vanilla FO's as the blend. Cyb's Vanilla Cream, Brambleberry's Vanilla Select, and Gemlite's French Vanilla. The top is swirled with cinammon, there will be a lighter coloured (un-vanilla fragranced) thin top, the rest will be the vanilla scented brown bottom (of course it will discolour as always) Note: Cut pics are now on page two, second post.
  8. Thanks for all the wonderful compliments! Cara, got your pm on the other place hon.
  9. Ohhh, i thought you were looking to buy an already made soap, i misunderstood. My scent blend was actually two fragrance oils, and an essential oil that I had bought from different suppliers. Soapmaker's scent blends are usually a "trade secret" for the most part, as it comes from experimentation. But, you can buy good Bay Rum scents easily. Hope this helps
  10. :smiley2: Dragontearz: You can easily buy anyone's soaps/products either by contacting them through a private message if they have no website through the forum, or click on the links to their websites. I have an online shopping cart which can be reached through my signature, or my profile.
  11. heheheh, Oh yea? wholesale or retail? Just kidding, I knew it was a typo. Thank you for all the wonderful compliments!
  12. You thought I was gonna show you a picture of flowers huh??? Wrong! LOL Here's a batch I did today (scented with Lime, Lemon, and Grapefruit) poppy seeds inside and top. Logs: Bars: A full 6 oz bar...cut with the FCS commercial cutter.
  13. I've been so busy during September/October with a large three day show and haven't posted in awhile. Thought I would post some recent pics of my three latest soap creations. Home for the Holidays (scented with Frank & Myrrh, Sandlewood, Vanilla) Pretty in Pink (scented with LoveSpell) Limon Spritzer (a Citrus/Herb EO blend) Gentleman Caller (bay rum/old spice scent)
  14. I use 1 Litre milk cartons for these bars, i have been switching between wood log molds and these.
  15. Getting ready for an upcoming show, and wanted to change the shape and colour of a previous scent blend. This soap is made with copious amounts of sheepsmilk and a unique Luv4Country Soaps scent blend. Was trying for a more "marbled" look, or a tie dyed t-shirt...think it ended up more marbled. LOL The little soldiers all lined up ready to transport to the curing rack. Off to move the new babies upstairs to the rack. heheh
