I am so excited ... the new fo this week at CandleScience is Lavender Vanilla, and it gets top rating for soy ... just the scent I've been waiting for. I love this supplier!!!
I just sent them an email asking if they would consider carrying CD wicks and warning labels ... I'm hoping they will.
CandleScience does carry warning labels. It's listed under equipment.

Peak's... super strong.

I actually had a customer tell me today she loves it. Her candle was a 50/50 blend. No orange smell, very much like a bakery cinnamon scent to me.

I third all that. love Millcreek Jelly bean!

Oh... Hot orange danish, and black cherry bomb. Awesome!!

I give my vote to Fresh Picked Strawberry from ICS!! So true to it's name.

Excuse me. Candlebuddy... sorry.

Candleman... I thought about using a taper mold from Pourette. It's described as ABS plastic. Do these kind work ok? I did look at the grubby ones from candlesandsupplies. THanks a bunch. Julie

I have 4625 melt point 145, and 4794 melt point 135. Which one would you recommend?
Also, lost about wicking these, flat braided wicks? What size should I start with? These tapers are from a mold.
Thank you!! Julie;)

I like dixie cups also, so much to clean up with candle making, I like to use the cups and toss out!!

Thank you everyone. I'm off to check them all out!!

I would like to give these a try. I been searching for some molds, which I'm not having any luck. Where can you get a good 10 - 15 molds? :rolleyes2
Thanks, Julie

how do I go about adding to my recipe? I thinking they should be dried. Any additives needed? Can I also add a bit of oatmeal? I do a 4lb batch.
Thanks !! Julie

I have to say, I love my LX wicks in my pillars. They work awesome in my wax, no flickering, (which happens in flat braided for me) or smoking. LX burns so even and smooth!! If that makes sense!! Love em!! I use 4625 for pillars.

Thank you birdieluvr76! That is exactly what I had in mind. Off to buy!!

LX wicks in a smaller quantity, not a sample pack but more like 25 or 50. Every place I look sells only 100. I did find Cierra sells 50 but of course they only have 2 sizes I need.
Thank you!! Julie:grin2:

TN has the best dupe!!

Tennesse Candle Supply has a dead on dupe. My customers say it just like VS.

I love Peaks, they have never let me down, every oil is great!! My favorites are...
white tea & ginger
brown sugar & fig
amish harvest
wild mountain honey
juicy pineapple
I know there is more, if you love florals try rose, and lilac, can't keep them stocked!

Is out of stock for the season!! UGH.. I need more fast, any suggestions that is very similar to there's? I'm finding that a lot of you love NG. Would you say they are pretty close.
I'm making marshmallow peep tarts, I have a large order to fill. Didn't expect ICS to be out!!:undecided
THank you, Julie

I started with the old formulation and never looked back. It sells year round. Everyone loves it! I'ved tried others to try them out, but also go back as this one is the best. I think it smells more like warm cinnamon buns.
