  1. It's Mabel's Mint Sugar Cookies for me. I got an ounce of the Celtic Moonspice but OOB it just smelled like a "Granny's Kitchen"-type of spice scent, I couldn't find anything to love about it so I haven't used it in anything yet.

    But MMSC... positively drinkable...yummmm!

OOOOOOooooooo that one does sound FAB! Right up my ally!

My list is growing and growing :laugh2:

  2. I ordered a new bottle, smells delish. Made tarts using same wax, heating temp, dye, and fo load, and the hot throw is light-medium. It use to run me out of the house and give me a headache.

Problem is, some customers raved about it and I think they had tarts made from my old bottle.... new customers are saying it is light. So I test burned and yep, it is light.

I contacted the supplier about it.... waiting to hear back.

In the mean time, has anyone used TN candle supply H&G recently?? And is it still a phenomenal thrower?

  3. I currently sell individual tarts, but I am interested in offering a variety of 6 or 12. What has been your experience as far as packaging this quantity?

I have seen everything from cello bags to using candy boxes.

Anyone have any ideas they would like to share?

    TIA :grin2:

  4. I am making my 1st purchase from Aroma Haven. Here is my list-

    Dream Catcher

    Christmas Bliss

    Amish Quilt

    Sweet Tooth

Bahama Coconut (still searching for a kick but coconut!)

    Sweet Amber Musk

    and maybe:

    Hungarian lilac

    Southern Sunshine

    Satsuma

I have gotten these from searching the board. Am I missing any other "must haves"? I NEED dream Catcher! A wonderful board member sent me a sample and I am in Heaven.... and I must order more.

I love unique scents, and I am searching for a couple "earthy" ones too.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

  5. I still play a lot.... trying to learn how to make an awesome candle takes a long time for me :laugh2:

But I have noticed that burning melts is no longer fun for me. It is fun if I buy them from someone else.... but not if I burn my own.

Same with bath and body stuff. I love to get it elsewhere, but the stuff I make is always "to test". Except soap.... I really enjoy my m&p soaps.

  6. I am currently testing Candle Science cotton candy, but I need to place an order with JS.... so I am wondering if anyone has tried JS new stronger cotton candy? I am trying to save on shipping as much as possible!

    Thanks for the help!

  7. This one might be easy...

I have cake bake from the Candle source. It is a great throwing bakery scent, but if it smells like cake, it would be cherry cake. It is heavy on the cherry notes. So I want to rename it.... but I am bad at this renaming game. :sad2:

Any help would be appreciated! Everyone is so creative ;)

  8. Peach Slices- I tested this one in tarts at 9% and it is GREAT. It smells just like a fresh juicy peach. The hot throw is fantastic! It is not a knock the doors off type, but it is very fragrant and I could smell it everywhere.

Moonlight Lace- tested at 9% in tarts. A little too light for my preference, but not a complete dud. I would rate it at about a 6.

Coconut- 9% in tarts. Smelled so great while pouring, but I barely could smell it while burning. :sad2:

Water Blossom Ivy- 9 % in tarts. This one is a powerhouse! A powdery floral, super strong.... and very long lasting.

I have more to test but wanted to share my results this far.
