The Votives look fantastic! What a great idea to use a spoon to squish the wax before it sets completely! I love it... I might just have to fiddle around with that idea

Those who are getting the "poof", are you sure you're not working with SLS, and SLSa doesn't poof that I've seen.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacate - that's what my package says... and it's a very fine/freeflowing powder that poofs when you open the bag, and the package says to use eye protection and mask when using...

Is this not the right stuff?

If there is something else out there that does the same thing but with no POOF, lemme know so I can buy that instead.

My mom has been desperately trying to find liquid soap that is antipresperant. She normally buys bar soap, but really doesn't like to use it in the shower.

This prompted the questions: What ingredient/s make a soap antipresperant or deoderant?

Anyone know?

Tried this today! It's AWESOME!

My only concern is that mine was very powdery, it poofs up in the air when I open the container and with all that SLSa, it might get into someone's nose!

But the bubbles were nice! It was silky and wonderful on the skin!

Okay, I'm going to start making container candles. I plan on using the wide mouth pint sized mason jars, because I can buy them locally.

I've never really gotten into making contaier candles, so I've got lots of questions.

I'd like suggestions on:

Was types, wick types/sizes, instructions on how best to pour, how to prevent those ugly air bubbles you see on the sides of mason jars at the store and craft shows.... how to make the top of the candle look nice and not have big dips in it.....

Er so basically I need instructions...

And I'd like to hear your prefered wax and wick sizes for this type of container
