I also have a Cricut....I purchased the smaller one first then, decided to get the Expression(shouldve just bought this one first) Havent had alot of time to 'play' on it but, what I have done has been good!! My 11 yr old daughter uses the smaller one & LOVES it!! I been learning all I can to cut fabric from it & will hopefully get to try that out before the weekend is over with....Purchased all the stuff to do the Vinyl & will hopefully get that tested too. Also, want to do the Etching stuff,,,the possibilities are endless with this machine! If you do alot of scrap booking or stuff like that, this is the product to get!! Was about to buy the Expression at Michaels & someone told me at the store to go to WalMart, they are alot cheaper & they are .... You can look up stuff on You Tube to see all the NEAT things you can do with this....I just purchased the Design Studio & you make things from your computer & transfer them to the Cricut machine....I purchased that at Michaels for $99 it comes with the USB cord to do this....Not had time to 'play' with that either....LOL Have FUN with it!! I just wish I had more time! But, I got it for when I retire someday HA HA

Sorry, I didnt realize LYE was in every soap.....I'm dumb on it as I dont make anything but Gylcerin & Goat Milk Soap...I dont mix anything in those but FO,,,,,,so, I just didnt know what LYE was all about.... I'm guessing it was either the FO or the other ingredients you guys have mentioned.

Thank You for your responses.....I did talk to the gal & she does use Lye in her soaps....I didnt want to make her feel bad, cause that wasnt my intentions at all & I told her that,,,,,I just wanted her to know what it did to us is all....I said it wasnt her fault - it could happen to anyone,,,,,we were just the chosen I just know now to use my own soaps that I make which are Goats Milk & Glycerin....we've not had any problems with them.... Thanks Again gurls for your opinions We are finally on the mend; and I dont wanna have to go through it again nor for my daughter....poor thing

I had recvd a Stonehenge CP Soap from a friend with these ingredients: Contains-Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Soy Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Fragrance & Colorant. I did contact the person & she also uses Lye - and said its been curing since May.... Me & my 11 yr old Daughter has broke out extremely bad - face, legs, arms with big bumps, they do not ooze they are scratchy & red inflammed.... Ive been on Prednisone for going on 2wks til I realized it was the soap when my Daughter just broke out with it on Friday when she used the bar for the very first time....I threw it in the garbage & mine seems to be doing better now but, my daughter OH MY I feel so so sorry for her - plus going to School all day without Benadryl every 4 hrs .... Does anyone have a clue what ingredient would do this or have you ever experienced this situation before... The gal was very apologetic & I told her it wasnt her fault I just wanted her to be aware what that soap did to us... Thanks for any info!!

Silicone mold start ripping for no reason Ive never had such a thing happen to me before - and I own alot of molds....The silicone in color is Pink, if pulled to any one side it rips for no reason....I'm not a maker of molds but, if someone could tell me why this has happened I would like to know - I've never used it either. It looks good enough to EAT (ha) I dip TP but add flowers & such to mine.....they are easier then the dipped bears. There selling very well for me too!!

Those are ADORABLE.....!! My 11 yr old daughter is sittin right beside me 'drooling' over these...she loves the horse one...I had to go back & look at the bug; thats hillarious...!! I guess I dont need another hobby either but, looks like my kids would love to do these....I will have to do more searching & learning on this.... How do they come out of the molds? Is there any other instructions we should know? THANKS for sharing girl

I make the rice Neckwraps.....I also wondered how to scent them but, so far I've not figured it out....my Mom had made the corn ones out of old jean material & they were NICE til one day one ripped open & OMG the corn was just black....I pitched them all & now make Rice ones....its a 'moist' heat & feels sooooooo good when you ache or need to stay warm during the cold months! I'm not sure I would scent them & put them in the microwave, would that be safe to do?

Wal-Mart has them after Christmas special for .50 cents a box.....Funny, we drank 5 bottles of wine & I hated to throw them out & I had seen these decorated up the same way from another Crafter & I got some of these light strands to decorate & give away for Gifts....I've not had time to do them yet but, they are beautiful.....
