  2. Sounds like Cyclomethicone to me. I've gotten it from Aroma Haven & The Scent Works, but I know other suppliers carry it as well. Here's the description & usage from the AH site:

    http://aromahaven.com/personalcare.html

For a non-oily body spray that is more of a refreshing spritz of scent, I use WSP's Luxury Body Mist, (which is also sold at The Candle Source). It's great, but instead of using the suggested 1% FO load, I need to use 2-3%. I make tons of this stuff & people keep coming back for more!

Cyclomethicone sprays are really popular at alot of the online bath & body etailer stores. I personally don't find them very popular, but I only make them for local folks, as I don't have an online store. I also find that the Cyclo sprays take a much higher load of FO so it's a bit costlier for me to make. But that being said, they are very popular & I even see that stores like Victoria's Secret are making what they call "dry oil sprays. So maybe it's the new "it" item.

  3. Many moons ago, when I got white double walled jars for the first time, I decided to boil them all to sterilize them. & guess what? When I looked in the pot, I had less jars than when I started. Not only did most of them melt & warp, some just disintegrated altogether & were gone! So I don't suggest boiling them:laugh2:

  4. Actually Tammy told me that they were doing away with all the clear laser waterproof labels except the 8.5 x 11. But you can cut your own labels. That is what I do. Not that complicated to me.

Oops! You are right! My mistake in wording in my post above(I should've re-read what I wrote!).

    You are right:

When I asked them if they were getting rid of the white waterproof labels or ALL labels for that matter, they told me:

"They are phasing out all but the 8.5x11 laser labels, but the white waterproof labels will continue to remain part of our regular inventory."

  5. What? Elements isn't going to sell any labels anymore? Oh no! I get ALL my labels from them now. Where did you hear about this?

    Yes, I'm quoting myself above!

I just spoke to a gal at Elements & thank goodness they are not getting rid of labels & will still continue to sell them. They are just phasing out the 8.5x11 laser labels. I got scared there for a moment!

  6. Oh I'd LOVE to see a sample sale at aroma haven too! I have alot of their oils, but not many from your list. Only Angel Heart & Gardenia. Angel Heart didn't go over too well, but that just may be the way it is around here & I don't love it. Gardenia is nice, but not asked for alot. Again, that can be just around here, because I hear that Gardenia is very popular elsewhere. I do like thier oils though. Off the top of my head, some of my favorites are Bahama Coconut, Banana Walnut cake, Southern Sunshine is amazing; love thier Carrot Cake.

  7. Are customers bothered by it? Maybe they aren't. I find that "Cloudiness" doesn't really bother anyone, at least I've never heard negative feedback on the oils that cloud. I find that "Separating" bothers people. Enough for them to mention it to me. They don't like to see, 9even through colored PET bottles), a 1/2 way line across the middle where the "base"(base or homemade mixture) & fo have split. But I guess if it really is a problem, those aluminum bottles are the way to go. Here are some places I've seen them:
