  1. I add it into the price of the goods. It's more convenient for the customer and for you. They won't have to wait for you to add up the tax. Plus, taxes are really bummers. Nobody wants to pay the taxes, much less wait for you to add them to their bill.

  2. I would not lower my prices, but I would have a sale every now and then. Also, you might want to come up with a catchy special, such as 5 for $10, 3 for $25, etc. That would lower the price some, plus the customer won't expect the lowered price each time. This also gives them a discount on buying in bulk. I'd hate to lower the price, then have to raise it right back up for some reason.

  3. I made tarts with Peak's Fireside a few days ago. Right now, they smell like ashes from a fireplace with something else (I can't tell what). They're really strong. I know they're supposed to smell at least somewhat good. Am I using too much FO? Should I try less? Does anyone have experience with this one. I used 1 oz. FO per pound of soy wax.

Also, I ordered Peak's Spruce Christmas Tree. Anyone know how much FO per pound on this one?

  4. Does anyone know where to get the small round labels that would fit on the bottom of a perfume bottle? I have two types of bottles: a frosted glass spray and a twisted glass roll-on. Neither of these could have labels on the side. If labels are not available, does anyone know how I could package/label the perfumes?

  5. I'm 39 and love patchouli essential oil. I discovered it several months ago. It smells terrible when I first put it on, but after it mellows out a bit, it smells fantastic. I made a 50/50 vanilla patchouli roll-on, and it smells heavenly. It's also an aphrodisiac. I would advise you to put a little on your wrist, wait a while, then smell. I think you'll change your mind.

  6. Wenebara is Latin for Jennifer. :D

I've got to agree with everyone on this. All of my soaping stuff is separate from my cooking stuff. I don't even use my KA for cooking. It is strictly for soaping. Same with my candle stuff.

PS. At first I laughed at your handle - I thought it said Weineebra. I thought WTH a bra for your weiner!! Now I have heard of everything. Geesh - now I know I need to wear glasses. LOL

  7. I love the picture on the front page. Great looking bath bombs! Also liked the soap and bath bomb pages. I agree with Trish about the white font; it's very hard to read it against the background. Also, I didn't like the text being crossed out on the Specials page. If the special is over, just take it off. It would just make me mad that I missed the sale.
