  1. Hi Sabrina, your labels are here and will be shipped today:cool2:! Thanks for your recs - I've been searching but I didn't find any that fit my taste, unfortunately. I will call ths guy and ask what's up! See you, inez
  2. Hi Shelly, thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, I need € - currency in my shop (GB has Pound Sterling, they didn't want the EURO). I guess have to search again:sad2:
  3. Hi, I've got a shop from xt-commerce (which is a further development of oscommerce), I have the graphics but the guy who wanted to do the fitting template for me shows no sign of living:angry2: Now I wanted to ask if any of you can handle this for me?? Maybe Becky?? Second question: can I have in a DIY-shop Euro as currency?? Or is only Dollar possible? Thanks for your help!!
  4. Flickers is one of my main suppliers (I'm doing candles, Ecosoya cb-135, pillar blend and cb-advanced) and I really love their fos. Only very few of them don't work the way I want them to work, but that could be because of my "difficult" wax. This is what I buy from Rhonda: Summer Garden (bestseller for me) Fairy garden (very strong!!) Pecan Pie (bestseller) Strawberry Musk Moonlight Path Carrot Cake Christmas Pines (bestseller) Clean Cotton Cranberry Fig (very nice, though my customers don't buy this:sad2:) French Lavender (bestseller) Merlin's Forest (bestseller) Tuscan Lace Vanilla Hazelnut (bestseller) and a new order is already on its way to my home:cool2: You won't be disapponted, I guess!!
  5. Hi Nat, thanks for your answer - I've supposed it would be so, but now I have certainty:sad2: I just got samples from Snowdrft Farm's Alba Lotion, really fabulous stuff... too bad that I cannot sell it here. I wouldn't care if I had to certify my formulations but you are right: it costs hell (one lady on another board talked about thousands of Euros:tongue2:). Good night, Inez
  6. Thank you for your input so far:)! I, too, use ICS Freshly Picked strawberries and like it, but I still want to have those really, really fresh strawberries:sad2:. But I will try Peaks (still don't have a single fo from them (shame on me:()... Raspberry is even more difficult: CC is too sweet IMO...also try to find a pure raspberry, a fresh one. Thanks for the recs for the blended ones - worth a try I guess! Please keep coming in with suggestions!
  7. I know there are several threads on this, but maybe there are some new ones that are really good? Still searching for the real thing....
  8. ..if premade bases have to certified in Europe as well or can they be sold the way they are? I know, most of you are not concerned, but maybe somebody has an answer:wink2:?
  9. Please help me! A customer wants to have a champaca scent, but I'm not so sure, waht champaca really is. I've read it's like frangpani, other say it's very close to Nag Champa. Can you tell me what it really is and where to get it (for soy)? Thanks a lot!!
  10. Which (water) decal paper do you recommend for decorating candles? I've seen several but am not sure which one to buy. Can you help, please? Thank you!
  11. Well, normally I'm using Ecosoya CB-Advanced for this purpose, but I'm thinking of changing my supplier because here in Europe I have to pay about $ 3,10 per lbs. (and this is the price if I take 100lbs. minimum). So it is cheaper to import from the US! And as Golden Brands has good waxes and good proces as well I thought about changing to that brand.
  12. Is there some with the container waxes from Golden Brands? I need the wax to pull out easily after it has hardened, because I need to cut it. Can somebody help?
  13. Who sells them? I've looked at candlekitchen and I like her stuff a lot. Are other good sources with really authentic looking stuff? Also: does candlekitchen have really good scented embeds? or is the scent only average? Thanks!!
  14. Exactly what I was looking for - thank you so much!!
  15. Yeah, I thought the same:grin2: - I guess I will try some of accu. Thanks for your help!!
  16. TLC, thank you for this tip! I've looked at your pics and the tops are really smooth. You also mentioned the good throw - do you have any more experience on that now? It's better than that of the CBA? Thank you again!
  17. I'm thinking about changing my wax supplier (I only get Ecosoya here in Europe) and therefore thought I could order another wax as well if itS just as "self-releasing" as the CB-Advanced is, because I have to take the candles out of the container to cut them. Is there such a wax on the market? Thanks!
  18. ...this s what I'd like to buy, but unfortunately I don't find a shop that has a really big assortment of beads etc. And I really would love to get these small seashells - can you help me? Thank you!
  19. Thanks for these recs! flutterbye, I've thought about the decals, but does it look professional? sugaryweet, I'm in Germany, not in the US and we sure have these pens, but the candles have to look perfect (the planner takes them to tradeshows, to sales talks etc.) and I don't have too much confidence in my abilities as a painter:embarasse
  20. I need to make pillars for weddings and have a question: the wedding planner wants to have one kind of pillar (unscented) instead of place cards (with the name of the guest on it) and another kind of pillar (scented) as favors, also with some text on it. Is it better to embed the text on paper etc. or what else can you recommend? Thanks for your help!
  21. Isn't it a little dangerous to put the oil directly on top of the candle and then light it? Can't the pure oil come to close to the flame?
  22. Some weeks ago I came over the website of another competitor. She offers unscented candles and gives the following recommendation: "Simply add some drops of fragrance oil into the melted waxpool to make a scented out of an unscented one!":shocked2::shocked2: Ever heard of something like that?
