  1. hi ya'll--

have any of you good people tried the wyw oils from bcn? are they really that strong? I was thinking about ordering bamboo to make some soy candles--have you tried it? does it smell good? thanks!

  2. I take the lids off of one of every scent. It brings on the customers in droves! :D Nobody else in my area does this and it's a huge selling point to the customers. I do it at outdoor shows as well as indoor shows.

I also light and burn a candle or two through out the show so that people can see that my candles are correctly wicked and how they burn.;) They can also sniff to make sure the scent is strong and throws well when burning at the bottom of the jar.;)

That'a a cool idea :cool2: . What kind of scents do you burn at your booth?

  3. I have one that i sell shoes on- www.sassyshoediva.com --never sold candles on there though ( sorry ) .

I use vendio to list my stuff--makes listing a whole lot easier-- www.vendio.com their message board is very helpful.

I did pretty well on there but during the summer i do alot of festivals and I don't think that I can juggle both, so I plan on not selling online until the fall but the store is still there if you would like to check it out.:cheesy2:

  4. Hi--

My name is Billyne. I've love this message board! ( I'm a lurker:cool2: ). I just had a quick question for ya'll. Which is easier for you when you are making a large amount of candles--do you apply your labels before you pour or after?

    Thanks!
