I love that jar! I'm gonna have to break down and get some.(I'm lovin that shade of green too!)
I think you can get that exact pea-soup color by using the dye flakes from candle cocoon called "dried grass/celery green". I used them in 70/30 and GL pure soy:http://www.candletech.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=6345&d=1147530308
Guess its basically an olive color - nice earth tone.

hi ya'll--

sorry...just saw that he is on candlesource

Yes, the Status or Metro jars are beautiful...very upscale looking. I also like the look of the frosted bulb jars with the round flat lid...elegant!
that is sooo funny i was just doing a search on these jars...they are hot! who has the best price on them though?

/I take the lids off of one of every scent. It brings on the customers in droves! Nobody else in my area does this and it's a huge selling point to the customers. I do it at outdoor shows as well as indoor shows.I also light and burn a candle or two through out the show so that people can see that my candles are correctly wicked and how they burn. They can also sniff to make sure the scent is strong and throws well when burning at the bottom of the jar.
That'a a cool idea . What kind of scents do you burn at your booth?

I have one that i sell shoes on- www.sassyshoediva.com --never sold candles on there though ( sorry ) .
I use vendio to list my stuff--makes listing a whole lot easier-- www.vendio.com their message board is very helpful.
I did pretty well on there but during the summer i do alot of festivals and I don't think that I can juggle both, so I plan on not selling online until the fall but the store is still there if you would like to check it out.

Hi--
My name is Billyne. I've love this message board! ( I'm a lurker:cool2: ). I just had a quick question for ya'll. Which is easier for you when you are making a large amount of candles--do you apply your labels before you pour or after?
Thanks!
