    I was hoping to get feedback from anyone who has tried Greenleaf's Starla in candles. I use J223 primarily. Just curious about scent throw if you've tried it. Thanks so much!

    For those of you who like M&P, what is your favorite base? I've just begun experimenting with soap and I've used Cajun's Shea Butter base. I like it, just wish it would bubble a little more. Is there anything I can add so that it will make more bubbles or do you have any suggestions for other bases that I should try? Thanks so much for your suggestions.

    Cajun Candles has an awesome plain Spearmint. It's super strong! I really like their Eucalyptus spearmint blend also.

    Yeah!! Can't wait for the tutorial! I just bought some M&P too, but it's been sitting on the counter for a week now. I just keep looking at it thinking.....any day now I'm going to try.

    I've been making candles for almost 8 years now, but have never tried to make soap. I've read recipes and instructions, but it sounds like it's so much more difficult than candle making. What do you guys think? You make it look easy with your beautiful creations, but is it as difficult as I think it will be?

    Chemessence will send you free samples with no order...........they just don't have that many good ones.....cranberry and lemongrass are my two faves. Just Scent sends freebies when you order. Peak too, sends freebies...not sure about a minimum order.

    Hi, Just wanted to share my review on a few new scents from WSP. I made votive testers with IGI 4794 paraffin wax and zinc votive wicks. The two scents that I tried are Mediterranean Fig Trapp dupe and Sexy Sandalwood. I love them both! The Sexy Sandalwood has an amazingly strong throw. It's hard to describe, but I really like the scent...........and I usually don't care for sandalwood. The Mediterranean Fig smells just like Trapps. The throw took a little longer to travel, but did eventually fill my bathroom, bedroom and hallway. Both are definite keepers. HTH if anyone was interested in trying them.

    I know that they are new, but has anyone had the chance to smell any of the new scents from WSP? I'm interested especially in the Trapp dupe of Mediteranean Fig and Sexy Sandalwood........which I really hope smells like Trapps Sexy Cinnamon.

    Cinnamon and Sandalwood from the candle source is really nice. I'm not sure if it's b&b safe, since I've only made candles with it, but it smells really nice. Someone here recommended it and I really like it.........although I'm not a fan of sandalwood......it's a really nice combination.

    I tried the Capri Olivo, but didn't really care for it. I used it in paraffin wax and just didn't care for the way it smelled. It's kind of a clean smell with some citrus maybe.......not too great with descriptions. Just wasn't what I was hoping it would be. They sent me a sample of soap made with lotus blossom and I thought it smelled really nice. I do plan to try that one next time I order. HTH

    I have both and find they are very similar.........too similar to carry both in my line. Just haven't decided which one I like better yet!

    I have mixed it with sandalwood. I'm not a fan of patchouli or sandalwood, but people who like it tell me it's a nice combination.

    Has anyone tried Sweetgrass from Candle CC? Just wondering what it smells like and how's the scent throw in paraffin.

    I need a really strong, knock you down blueberry for paraffin wax....... any suggestions?

    I tried the TL & C in J223 with htp wicks and found it to have a moderate hot throw. It does fill up my bedroom, which is about 20x20........the scent is just softer than some of the others. The neroli de la luna has an awesome throw. It travels from one room to another and will overpower anything else burning. The sultry angel is another super strong one. I really love CC oils, they are very unique.

    I have to agree.......Summer Splash is awesome! It is one of my favorite scents. She threw it in as a sample.......I didn't even choose it, but I absolutely love it. Her Hawaiian white ginger is another great one.
