WOW!!!!!!!! Soapmaker Man those are some really nice molds. I have been tring to get every friends husband to make me a mold. Who makes those they are purtdy.
-
Took it out of the mold today and it was all oily gave it the zap test and no bit so i guess it is the fo leaking out of soap. What do you all think. edit for saying thank you about the abv. and all the comments every one has.

It seems like a good idea but, with it in powder form or almost it wouldn't have much bulk to it. What i mean is 8 oz. of bath salt looks like alot but grind it up and it will look like a small amount. Even if the oz are on the package. Maybe I'm wrong, would not be the first time.

I made a batch of lilac last weekend and it traced a little faster then normal but I didn't have any other problems with it. I used NG's Lilac. I was even able to get some lavender swirls in it....but I didn't get them dark enough and they don't show up real great. It was my first time working with ultramarines and oxides.
What is or who is NG's sorry don't know many suppliers yet. Thank for the info. I have not worked with those yet. Not sure where to get colorings and what kind to use. I don't want to spend money on colors that don't turn out right.

This is the first my soap batch has riced. I guess I belong now. I love lilac and this is just for me. I took a look last night before I went to bed and it did jell so I think it is going to be alright. I will cut it a little later. Did not get a chance to color so it is just going to be white. Thank for you alls in put.

I have used parchment bakers use it and it would be in the same isle as the wax and sandwitch bags. If you have a problem ask the meat man if they have it for sale. Not sure how much help i was either. Good luck.

:mad:Man I don't know what happen. The soap was at thin trace, I put in the fo. lilac. All of a sudden the soap looked like apple sauce or grainy not sure with big chuncks so i got the blender stick and whipped the --- out of it took a long time compared to what i am use to. Every time i stopped whipping it looked real wierd. Got to the point that it was time to pour or spoon into mold. I am not sure what will happen in the end. still did not look right. I used 4 oils olive coconut pko and plam. any one got idea what happen

At Joanns or michials you get a box that is 4x4x6 that is not to bad. I first used a bread pan that i lined with parchment cooking paper, but like carebear said frezzer paper is better. It will save you money untill you know if you like making soap.

Sounds like a great recipe.
I am digging your packaging, especially the little scoop.

beautiful soap. You do more than wonderful bath bombs. What swap you gonna be in next?
-
Are you doing a cp or hp? Are you using a blender stick? You really don't need to pull out the soap to find out if it is at trace. Just left up the blender stick let it drip off and if it says on top of soap for a sec it is at trace. Hope this is helpful, if not just ignor me. I have only made 5 batch and the frist 2 was ugly and no one has seen it but me. I use it and it is nice soap but uggggly. oh Kathy miller has a great sight too for soap making...tons of info....I think it is kathymiller.com Not sure anyway hppy soapn

Multiply Length x Width x Height x .4
Since you want your soap 1 inch multiply the length of the inside of the mold by the width by 1 and then by .4, hope that makes sense:D
what she said is better than what i said
-
length x width x depth x 0.4 Give you the oz then if you want you can devide by 16 and gets you poundage. Have fun
-
way lot of work if you did the stiching or at least it takes me forever to do it.
They are cool.
-
I think it looks great. It is something that I would buy, and you could chalk it up to being unique but definately not ugly.
I am with her. The top is really cool how did you make it look so sliky? I think you should sell it. If it doesn't sell then keep it for home or gifts. Every ones taste is different. I think it is unique tooo

I have the same problem. Could you help me and tell me the recipe?

The link has an error. That is so sad. I hope that he can get ajusted in time to what has happened to his hand. My prayers are with them.
-
If you put it in glass than the costumers that are like you will buy, but if they are like me and I like the product, I keep it near tub. I do not buy glass container for my b&b. Just input for your thoughts.

Bunny's Bath Melts ~ Pics~ Step By Step
Well I don't vere off from CP soap very often, but with Mother's Day coming up, I wanted to make a little more than soap for my mom and mother in law.
I have been wanting to make Bunny's Bath Melt's for months.
I gathered all the information of tips others had mentioned and just wished that there was a step by step picture guide to it, like the CP Soap has!
So, I did my best to make one for you!
A blend of Peaks Vanilla Hazelnut and Vanilla Cake
I bathed right afterwards, I could not wait, and it was fabulous!
Measured the Cocoa (&/or Shea)
I made mine with 7 oz Cocoa & 1 oz Shea
Measured the Baking Soda & Cornstarch
Mixed all the lumps Out!
(Measure citric acid in seperate Container)
Have ready to add soon........
Add Baking Soda, Cornstarch & FO to melted but not hot, OILS.
Add Citric Acid, and mix it quickly for about 20 seconds
I had mixed it completely at this point
Put in muffin cups size of your choice
Put in the freezer approx 15-20 minutes
(These were in 20 min's when the pic taken)
Pop out of muffin cups or leave in.......Your choice
